PSA to our grooming clients:
Our grooming salon isn’t an assembly line—it’s a place where living, breathing family members are cared for with patience, skill, and compassion.
Every dog that comes through our doors is different. Some are puppies experiencing their very first groom and need extra reassurance. Some are seniors who need frequent breaks and gentle handling. Some are anxious, reactive, or medically fragile. Others need two or three groomers working together just to keep them safe.
On any given day, before we even unlock the front door, we may already have boarding dogs scheduled for grooming and dogs we’ve picked up for our transportation service. So while you may be the third person to walk in, your dog may actually be the tenth dog we’re caring for that day.
Then real life happens.
A dog catches a nail and starts bleeding. A frightened puppy needs time to build trust. An elderly dog becomes too stressed to continue safely. Multiple clients arrive at once for pick-ups. The phone rings nonstop with people checking on their pets. Someone needs us to explain why their dog’s nails can’t safely be cut any shorter. Another longtime client walks in to tell us their beloved dog has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and we stop to share in their grief because we loved that dog too.
Through all of this, we often skip lunch, forget to drink water, and don’t even have time for a bathroom break. Not because we’re slow—but because every dog deserves our full attention.
When your dog is on our table, they are our priority. We will never rush through a groom just because someone is impatient. Rushing leads to mistakes, stress, and injuries, and that’s something we refuse to risk.
Your dog isn’t “just another appointment.” They are someone’s best friend, and while they’re in our care, we treat them like they’re one of our own.
Thank you to the clients who trust the process, show us patience, and understand that quality grooming takes time. We truly appreciate you more than you know. ❤️🐾
