I know this isn’t Pet Sitting related, but I have a lot of supporters on here and I’m so thankful for each and everyone of y’all!!
 A lot of people have asked about bringing Tori’s Treasures-Nonprofit Animal Rescue back, so I wanted to explain what’s going on. A few years ago, I filed everything to become an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit and truly believed it had been approved. Unfortunately, I later found out it had actually been denied, but because I had moved, I never received the denial letter and had no idea there was an issue. I paid over $1200 for someone to help me and I asked her several times if I was approved and she told me yes every single time.
Now I’m working to make everything official the right way so Tori’s Treasures can continue helping animals in need. Over the years, we’ve helped well over 100 animals through rescue, medical care, TNR, food assistance, and rehoming efforts. This has always been something very close to my heart, and I’d love to see it grow into an officially recognized nonprofit organization.
The filing fees and paperwork will cost about $275, (and I’m trying to raise the funds to get everything submitted. (if I hadn’t just wrecked my car, this wouldn’t be a problem) If anyone would like to help, no donation is too small, and every dollar will go directly toward making Tori’s Treasures official.
