Just a little update for my wonderful clients. ❤️
My precious baby Isis, my Moyen poodle, was attacked by another dog. I did what I think any of you would have done and protected my baby. Thankfully, Isis is okay. She does have some bite wounds, but they are not nearly as bad as they could have been. ❤️
Unfortunately, I was seriously injured while getting the dog off of her. My left pointer finger was nearly severed around the first knuckle. The bite broke the bone, and damaged the tendon badly enough that I had to have a tendon repair.
Because this was such a serious injury, I have to be extremely careful about infection and give my finger time to heal. Being a groomer and working around dog hair, water, dirt and bacteria, I simply can’t risk damaging it further or developing a serious infection.
So unfortunately, I will be off work while I heal. I hate being away from all my furry clients, but right now I have to protect my hand and let it heal properly. I WILL be back doing what I love as soon as I’m able! ❤️🐾
