Today, we remember the incomparable Dolly Parton—a gifted singer, songwriter, actress, philanthropist, and beloved American icon.

This wonderful photograph of Dolly surrounded by magnificent macaws captures the warmth, color, and unmistakable joy she brought wherever she went.

Her extraordinary talent entertained generations, while her kindness, generosity, and commitment to helping others made the world a brighter place.

The American Federation of Aviculture extends its heartfelt condolences to Dolly’s family, friends, and the millions of people whose lives she touched.

I just have to take a moment to say THANK YOU. ❤️🦜

Reading these kind words about Amy’s Birds truly means more to me than I can put into words. When I started this journey, I never wanted this to feel like just a store. I wanted it to be a place where people feel welcome, where friendships are made, questions are always encouraged, and the health and happiness of every bird comes first.

To hear that you feel like friends, not just customers, and that you recognize the love, time, and care we put into matching our birds with the right families means everything to us. 🥹

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your birds, purchased a new feathered family member from us, supported our little shop, recommended us, left a review, or simply stopped in to visit. You are the reason Amy’s Birds continues to grow.

We’re loving these bird harnesses! They’re easy to put on, comfortable, and most importantly… Roxy approves! 🥰

We love trying the products we carry on our own birds first. It gives us a chance to see how they fit, how easy they are to use, and whether our birds actually like them before we recommend them to you.
