Hey everyone!

I wanted to put some feelers out to see if anyone is looking for a part time/ full time/ side job.

I’m looking for someone who absolutely loves ALL pets and would put them 110% first.

Someone who does NOT have any pets of their own, reliable vehicle for travel and willing to do drop ins, overnights in the clients home and boarding in your home. 8-5 M-F regular job is totally cool!! I will be checking references and your socials.

Recent wildfire evacuations in Washington and NW Montana remind us to be prepared to evacuate quickly. Build a kit, have an evacuation plan including for pets and livestock, and sign up for local alerts. Heed any evacuation warnings or orders from local officials.

☀️ The dog days of summer seem to be here. It's hot outside, and your pets need help to beat the heat! Please keep these tips in mind as we continue to experience warmer temperatures. 💦🐶

Temperatures are running high for the near future! Take precautions with your pets to keep them safe:

1. Avoid outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day (usually around 3-5pm)
2. Walks and hikes are best taken early in the morning or late in the evening. Bonus if walks are near water where your dog can jump in and cool off
3. Provide plenty of fresh water to drink
4. Keep your pets home when you run errands; it's too hot to keep them in the car
5. Brachycephalic breeds, such as pugs, Frenchies, bulldogs, boxers, shih tzus, Persians, etc, are at a higher risk for heatstroke - so take extra precaution with them
6. If you're hot, they're EXTRA hot!

There are three confirmed cases of Kennel Cough from dogs that stayed at Happy Paws. The dogs have left, were diagnosed by a vet and treated. This is being disclosed so you as the owner can make an informed decision about bringing your dog to daycare. Kennel cough is a group of respiratory infections much like a cold. They are airborne and communicable.
