I was mowing with my old mower and caught myself thinking, “How is this thing still running?”
It sat unused, uncovered, exposed to the elements, for at least 10 years. I gave it a tune-up, and it’s been running pretty decent. No major overhaul. Just some attention and routine maintenance.
This, in turn, got me thinking about the animals I care for.
Their bodies aren’t engines, but their joints, muscles, spine, and nervous system all work together. Everyday movement, work and play puts a demand on that system. Sometimes external inputs are required to maintain optimum function.
That’s where chiropractic can play a role: assessing spinal motion and using adjustments when appropriate to support nervous system function as part of their maintenance care, increasing health and promoting longevity.
Maintenance looks different for every animal. It might include regular movement, appropriate exercise, and chiropractic care based on their individual needs.
Your horse or dog doesn’t have to be struggling before they could benefit from some routine care.
Better motion, better performance. 🐴🐾
And if you made it this far—stop into the office this week and tell me what model you think the mower is. Correct guesses get a prize!
