Happy National Dog Day to All The Dog Parents Out There. Some may think dogs are just dogs but for me, dogs got me through some of the toughest times of my life and I don’t know where I’d be without them. Here’s some of the ones I’ve watched over the years that I’m extremely grateful for!

New to the crew!

Everyone meet some of my new favorites, we have the biggest black lab I’ve ever met, Atlas. The smallest yellow lab I’ve ever met, Sunni. One of the calmest wire hairs I’ve ever met, Ozzy and the cats, Vlad and Kitters, who I think think they’re dogs most of the time 🤣

This is one I was really excited to do ever since I met this group. We did a fence for their parents last year and I mentioned I did dogsitting if they ever needed it and after 2 times of me not being available, the stars finally aligned with a last minute cancellation.

I was already excited for this one before it even happened after discovering they turned out to be the couple that adopted my sweet little Sunni. I’ll never forget walking into work one day and seeing this little dwarf looking lab splooting on the hallway floor and I just loved her so much. It’s so nice to see her thriving in her forever home. She’s happy just hanging out by your side, Ozzy is happy as long as you let him supervise you cooking and playing fetch for hours and Atlas still gets around great for an older guy. He is huge on collecting all the toys in his mouth at once so Ozzy doesn’t get any. 🤣

For as many personalities as there is in this house, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Everyone was so well behaved and so much fun. 🧡

Got to hang out with my girls, Indie & Libby again. Thankfully we were sparred any snake sightings this time around so we could spend most of our time together outside and not have to worry about having a heart attack 😅

🐾 New to the Crew 🐾

Everyone meet Drogo!

I got to meet this sweet boy a couple weeks ago in hopes of staying with him while his family was away. We got to meet a couple times to ensure he was comfortable with me first and I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better stay. We played, we cuddled, we watched movie and we spent a lot of time outside. Mornings walks while the town was still asleep turned into our favorite things to do. Aside from his addiction to whipped cream 😆

Had a great time with my buddies Juno and Louie. Finally feel like Louie is coming around to me after all the time I’ve watched them. He didn’t hide behind the couch once, was fine being around me and even hung out in the kitchen with me while I cooked. And Juno is still my favorite fluffy girl. 🧡

We fell a couple spots from our gold status last year but it’s an honor to even be nominated and place at all. I know this is the right path for me and the years just keep on getting better. Thank you to everyone that voted and has supported me over the years. We will try again next year! 🧡

☀️ SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ☀️

What better day for good news than a Friday, am I right?

I have finished my last follow up between my dermatologist and my allergist. Most of my symptoms and reactions have been able to be kept at bay or completely cleared up with my new medication regimen and lifestyle changes. The only minor flare up I had, I was not even in any direct contact with animals. While my enviromental allergies could be caused by animal dander, it was not causing the skin reactions I was having and I have been given the green light to get back to my normal activities. Yayyyy!

With that said, I am mostly booked for August and September with overnights right now, but will still do check ins depending on the days needed.

Got a little behind on my posts again, but better late than never. I got to spend the 4th with some of my favorites. I always my time with my other pom squad and my sweet girl Chloe following me around like my shadow. 🧡
