Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care We are completely committed to our patients’ well-being and quality care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house X-ray capabilities, ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas and grooming services.

Today was Angie H.’s last day at Northwoods Animal Hospital, and we couldn’t let her go without a little extra love! 💐🎈

We surprised Angie by decorating her workstation with balloons, flowers, and lots of love to make her final day a little more special.

🦎 Meet Mango! 🥭

Mango the Bearded Dragon came to Northwoods Animal Hospital for his very first visit! 💚

The story behind Mango? A little boy really wanted a dinosaur, and Mom said this was about as close as she could get! 😂🦖

We think Mango is a pretty fantastic substitute for a dinosaur! He definitely brings some prehistoric charm to our clinic.

🐾 HIGHLANDS IS LIGHTING UP HIS RECOVERY! 🐾

Meet Highlands, who injured his iliopsoas tendons (hip flexors) after taking a leap off a dock! Now he’s working his way back to feeling his best with a little help from our Companion Animal Laser Therapy.

As you can see, Highlands is taking his treatment seriously while sporting his stylish protective doggles! 😎 These special glasses protect his eyes during laser treatments, and he’s rocking the look!

Companion Animal Laser Therapy can help reduce pain and inflammation, promote healing, and support recovery from soft tissue injuries.

🎉🐾 A VERY SPECIAL DAY AT NORTHWOODS! 🐾🎉

Today we celebrated Jan’s birthday AND her last day at Northwoods Animal Hospital! What a way to celebrate! ❤️

After an incredible 23 years of grooming, Jan is officially heading into retirement! ✂️🐩

For more than two decades, Jan has cared for countless furry friends with incredible skill, patience, kindness, and love. She has created so many special relationships with her four legged clients and their families, and has been such an important part of the Northwoods family.

Jan would especially like to say THANK YOU to all of her wonderful clients. Thank you for trusting her with your beloved pets, for your friendship, your loyalty, the conversations, the laughs, and for allowing her to be part of your pets’ lives. It has meant so much to her over the years. ❤️

Jan, we are so grateful for the 23 years you have given to Northwoods and to the many pets you have pampered along the way. You will certainly be missed around here!

This adorable 12-week-old Old English Bulldog stopped by Northwoods Animal Hospital today and completely stole the spotlight! 🐶 From his squishy face to his sweet personality, Todd had our team smiling from ear to ear.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Dr. Hannah! 🎉

We’re celebrating our wonderful Dr. Hannah today! We are so lucky to have her as part of the Northwoods team and hope her birthday is as special as she is! 💗

And a BIG shout-out to her hubby, Cameron, for spoiling us all! Not only did he bring in pulled pork, homemade coleslaw and homemade apple pie, but he also had a gorgeous bouquet of fall flowers delivered! 💐

WOW, what a treat! Cameron definitely knows how to make a birthday special!

🐾 Meet this adorable little Devon Rex named Purcy kitten! 🐾

This sweet little guy came to Northwoods Animal Hospital for a visit and completely stole our hearts! With those big eyes, tiny paws, this small-to-medium-sized, energetic cat breed known for its pixie-like face, oversized "butterfly" ears, and soft, wavy, or curly coat

We just love getting to meet all of our furry patients, especially the extra-curly and extra-cute ones! 🐱💙

🤍 Meet Felix! 🤍

Felix is a marvelous, big white Maine C**n who came to Northwoods Animal Hospital for his preventative visit! This handsome guy may look like a majestic feline, but he has some serious dog-like qualities. 🐾

Felix is very food motivated, loves attention, and is quite the mouse hunter! Sounds like he has the best of both worlds: a big personality, a healthy appetite, and a job to do! 🐭

Dr Hannah and the staff loved meeting this gorgeous boy and getting to know his BIG personality!
