🐾 Happy National Veterinary Technician Week🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary technicians who make such a difference in the lives of our patients and their families every single day.

From comforting nervous pets to providing compassionate care and supporting our veterinary team, our vet techs truly are the heartbeat of our clinic. Their hard work, dedication, and love for animals never go unnoticed.

Please join us in celebrating and thanking these amazing members of our veterinary family! We appreciate you more than words can say. 🤍

One of our former technicians, Judi, who has been a valued part of our clinic family, is now facing a difficult battle with Stage 3 lung cancer.

An upcoming event has been organized to show her some love and support during this challenging time. We would love for our clinic family and community to come together, if you’re able, to support someone who has given so much to those around her.

Please consider joining us, sharing this post, or simply keeping her and her family in your thoughts. Every bit of support means so much. 💜

Traveling to Mexico or somewhere warm with your pet?

If you’re planning a trip to Mexico with your dog or cat, please be aware that new import requirements have been issued by the Minnesota Board of Animal Health due to concerns about New World Screwworm (NWS), a serious parasite affecting animals in parts of Mexico and Central America.

Pets returning to Minnesota from Mexico may now require additional documentation, veterinary inspections, treatment records, and quarantine measures. Requirements can take time to complete, so it’s important to plan ahead before your trip.

Before traveling, please review the updated regulations here:

https://www.bah.state.mn.us/Board-Issues-New-Import-Requirements-for-Dogs-Cats-Coming-from-Mexico

If your pet will need a health certificate or travel-related veterinary services, contact the clinic well in advance of your departure date. We’re happy to help ensure your pet’s travel plans go smoothly! 🐾

Warmer weather is here, and cabin season officially kicks off this weekend! That means more time outdoors for our furry friends — and more exposure to mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks.

Now is the perfect time to stock up on your pet’s:
✔️ Heartworm prevention
✔️ Flea prevention
✔️ Tick prevention

Heartworm disease can be life-threatening and is spread by mosquitoes, while fleas and ticks can carry harmful diseases.

Give us a call or stop by the clinic to make sure your pets are protected before all the summer adventures begin!

Summer schedules fill up fast — and so do ours! ☀️

To help you plan ahead, here’s a quick look at the days our clinic will be closed this summer. We know this time of year gets busy with vacations, sports, cabin weekends, and family plans, so we encourage you to schedule medication refills, food pickups and appointments in advance whenever possible.

🚨We are currently booking several months out for Annual appointments. So please call to book those right when you get your reminder.

Thank you for planning ahead with us and helping us continue to care for your pets all summer long!

We’re excited to share a tool that makes caring for your pets even easier — the PetDesk app! 🐾

As busy pet owners ourselves, we know how hard it can be to keep track of appointments, vaccine reminders, medication refills, and all the little details that come with caring for your furry family members. PetDesk helps keep everything organized right from your phone!

With the app, you can:
• Request appointments
• Get reminders for vaccines & upcoming visits
• Request prescription refills
• Access your pet’s information anytime
• Communicate with our clinic more conveniently

We love having tools that help us stay connected with you and provide the best care possible for your pets. If you haven’t downloaded PetDesk yet, we highly recommend giving it a try!
