💚🐾 Vet Tech Week, Day 5: Kellie! 🐾💚

Some people have a way of making you feel calmer just by being in the room. That's Kellie! And after more than 20 years in veterinary medicine, they've certainly earned their place as one of the special humans who make Minnetonka Animal Hospital what it is. 💙

Kellie brings a quiet confidence and a wealth of experience to everything they do. They're a Reiki Master, trained in Tui-Na (Chinese therapeutic massage), and have a real gift for helping our patients feel more comfortable and cared for. Their approach is a beautiful reflection of the kind of medicine we love practicing here. ✨🐾

But don't let that calm, peaceful presence fool you... Kellie is also a certified VAMPIRE! 🧛😂 But seriously...need a blood draw or a catheter placed? Somehow, Kellie makes it look almost supernatural. After all these years, their skills still impress us!

And of course, there's one more important detail: GO PACK GO! 🏈💚💛 We can't celebrate Kellie without acknowledging their Packer pride!

💙🐾 Vet Tech Week, Day 4: Kirsten! 🐾💙

Kirsten is an absolute ROCKSTAR, and we're so lucky she's part of our team! 🤩

Fun fact: Kirsten almost became a teacher, but somewhere along the way, she discovered just how much she loves animals. The world of veterinary medicine is pretty lucky to have her! 🐶🐱

✨One of the things we appreciate most about Kirsten is her can-do attitude. Sounds cheesy, but it's true! Gve her something new to learn, a problem to solve, or a task that needs doing, and she jumps right in. She's a super fast learner, incredibly efficient, and never afraid to try something new. She doesn't wait around for someone else to figure things out — she rolls up her sleeves and gets to work! 💚

As our Assistant Team Lead, Kirsten brings so much to our practice. She's amazing in surgery and anesthesia, brings valuable experience to urgent care situations, and is a tremendous support to our veterinarians. That combination of competence, initiative, and genuine care is pretty special. We love having someone on our team who sees what needs to be done and simply says, "I've got this." 💯

Kirsten, thank you for everything you bring to our team and our patients. We're so proud of the veterinary professional and leader you're becoming, and we're so glad you chose a career filled with animals! 🐰🐾

💙🐾 Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Megs! 🐾💙

Day 3 is all about someone who is truly a beacon of light: Megs!

One of the things we appreciate most about Megs is that she doesn't just help from the sidelines. She works BESIDE you — learning, problem-solving, sharing her knowledge, and constantly striving to help us practice better medicine. She's the kind of teammate who makes everyone around her better.

Have a piece of equipment that won't cooperate? She'll figure it out (you don't even have to ask). Have a client who needs time, patience, and help understanding complicated recommendations for their pet? She'll sit down, listen, and walk them through it. Have a problem? Megs is already on her way to help — even if she has to figure out the solution as she goes! 🌟

Her experience is incredible, but it's her HEART that really sets her apart. Dogs adore her, cats adore her, and she brings SO MUCH compassion to every patient, every client, and every teammate. 😸🐰🐶 She laughs with you, cries with you, and genuinely feels the work we do.

Oh, and she sings while working! And because apparently being amazing at veterinary medicine isn't enough, she's also a HULA HOOPER! 😂⭕️

Megs, you are compassionate, resourceful, endlessly capable, and truly incredible. We are SO lucky to have you at Minnetonka Animal Hospital! Help us celebrate this amazing human for Day 3 of Vet Tech Week! 💙🐾

🐾 Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Linnea! 🐾

Day 2 is all about Linnea, one of our wonderful Veterinary Assistants! 💙

Linnea is the definition of salt of the Earth — hardworking, dependable, and the kind of person you know will be there in a heartbeat when you need a hand. She may be quiet at times, but don't let that fool you! She's an incredible listener, a steady presence on our team, and someone who shows how much she cares through the little things she does every day.

Her heart has a special place for the BIG dogs, the tiniest kittens, and even our bunny patients. 🐕🐱🐰 And if you happen to spot her with a Coca-Cola and a bag of Cheez-Its? Well, that's just Linnea being Linnea! 🥤🧀😂

We're so grateful for all the hard work, kindness, and dependability Linnea brings to Minnetonka Animal Hospital. She's the kind of teammate who makes our team stronger and our patients' days a little brighter.

🐾 Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Max, Veterinary Assistant! 🐾

Some people just have a way of making everyone feel at ease, and Max is one of those people! 💙

A wonderful conversationalist with a kind heart, Max has a calm, gentle nature that pets seem to instinctively trust. Whether he's helping clean a pet's teeth🦷, keeping a patient cozy during acupuncture, or jumping in wherever he's needed, Max brings kindness and curiosity to everything he does.

He's also always learning! From anesthetic safety and dental X-rays to the principles of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine 🍁, Max is building new skills and expanding the ways he can help our patients. When he's not at the hospital, he enjoys writing, reading and spending time with his kitty, Smokey. 🐱📚

We're so proud to have Max on our team and grateful for the compassion, conversation, and care he brings to Minnetonka Animal Hospital. Help us celebrate Max this Vet Tech Week! 💙🐾

Dr. Jung has learned an important lesson: never underestimate a cat who knows where the treats are. 😂🐱

The infamous left pocket of Dr. Jung’s blue coat is always stocked with dehydrated beef liver… and apparently, this little lady has figured that out.

Yesterday, she skipped the polite begging and went straight into the pocket. No shame. No hesitation. Just “Excuse me, I’ll help myself.” 😂

And there’s a reason Dr. Jung keeps two blue coats—because when these sneaky individuals find a pocket that isn't monitored closely, they will absolutely go digging for the good stuff.

Caught red-pawed. 🐾❤️

Some pups walk through our doors for a visit… and some pups walk in and completely steal the show... 😍

Sweet Brody brought the biggest smile to everyone’s faces when we saw him! From those adorable puppy-dog eyes to that “Wait…are you taking my picture?!” grin, we couldn’t get enough of this handsome guy. 🐶💙

Some patients need medicine. Some just need a little extra love. ❤️🐾

Izze and Meghan taking a little time out of their day to give Binx some attention—and judging by that tail and the look on his face, Binx was more than happy to be pampered. 😻

Our clinic cats have a pretty important job around here: keeping everyone smiling, making sure the exam tables are properly inspected, and reminding us that sometimes the best part of a workday is simply spending a few minutes with an animal you love. 💕

And today is a bittersweet day because it’s Gabriella’s last day at Minnetonka Animal Hospital before she heads off to veterinary school! 🎓🐾

We are SO proud of you, Gabriella, and can’t wait to watch you chase your dream of becoming a veterinarian. We’re going to miss your smiling face around here! ❤️
