It has recently come to our attention that our practice is listed on a website as owned by Lakefield consolidation group. I would like to clarify that we are not now, and have never been owned by a private equity group or consolidator. We remain a 100% locally and independently owned practice. Hello East Lake community! Meet Dr. Anna Gresser. Dr. Gresser joined the East Lake Animal Clinic team in April as our newest associate. She attended The University of Minnesota School of Vet Med, graduating in 2019. She has lived in the metro area for over 10 years now and is originally from Rochester, Minnesota. She enjoys dentistry and internal medicine and loves pugs and cats. Dr. Gresser enjoys puzzles, board games, and being outside with family in her free time. She has one Lab, two cats, and a betta fish.

'Tis the season for black fly bites! That's not the name of a progressive rock band from the 90's but rather an annoying little critter that bites our fluffy friends. Luckily these scary looking bites are not dangerous to your pet and are okay to monitor for resolution. As always we're here to help if you're concerned or your pet shows signs of discomfort.

Female black flies inflict painful bites, and animals' ears, neck, head, and abdomen are favorite feeding sites.
