Oftentimes, we are asked if it’s ok to give your furry friend treats before a home visit. If your pet is still interested in eating, the answer is yes — as long as it’s not a large amount and does not cause an upset stomach. We have seen families give small portions of cheeseburgers, french fries, bacon, and even steak to their beloved friends as a special treat. The most important thing beforehand is to spend quality time together, and to let your pet know that they are, above all else, loved.
