Congratulations, Bobbi! 🎉 She recently qualified for the opportunity, based on her many years of experience, and passed her exam, and the timing could not be better.
A quick note on what changed: As of July 1, 2026, Minnesota moved veterinary technicians from Certified (CVT) to Licensed (LVT). The title is now protected by law, which means only people who have graduated an accredited veterinary technology program, passed national board exams, and met state licensing requirements can call themselves a veterinary technician.
The care your pet receives does not change. The recognition does. It puts a legal name on the education and skill our technicians have been bringing to work all along.
We're proud of you, Bobbi! 💙
