Hello everyone! We are happy to announce our Downtown September Dog of the Month, Huckleberry! 🫐🍁

Huckleberry has been coming to City Paws since January of 2023! Huckleberry is such a bundle of joy and is always making us smile ☺️ Our Downtown staff is very grateful to see Huckleberry every week! Here are a few fun facts about Mr. Huckleberry that we wanted to share with you all!

• Huckleberry is the squirrel and chipmunk management at home 🫡 He likes to keep all the furry creatures out of his mom’s garden!

• His favorite activity other than going on walks, is when he gets to stick his head out the car window. 🚗

• Huckleberry’s favorite treat is anything that has a nice crunch 🦴

• Huckleberry is a dog of many nicknames. Just to name a few: Huckles, Huckababy, Spin Master, Hurricane Huckle. 🌀* for context, when Huckleberry gets picked up after daycare, he goes crazy and spins in continuous circles out of excitement!

Having Huckleberry at City Paws is such a pleasure! We have really enjoyed getting to see this sweet guy open up and show us more of his silly personality! Thanks Huckleberry for all the love, smiles, and laughs. 🥹🩵

Hello everyone! We are happy to present to you our Downtown September 2026 Dog of the Month, Huckleberry! 🫐🍁

Huckleberry has been coming to City Paws since January of 2023.

• Although Huckleberry likes to attend all of our parties, he does have a bit of anxiety. Rumor is he has peed on Santa Claus twice in a row at our Holiday parties. 🤫

Introducing Hayo, Lyndale’s Dog of the Month for September!!🤎

Hayo is Lyndale’s 1st blind dog, and he is the bestest boy in the world, so of course we had to share him!!🍂

Here are a few fun facts about him:

🍂His favorite toy is his Crinkly Fox

🍂His favorite place to nap: literally anywhere, but his favorite is napping outside in the sun

🍂His favorite treats: freeze dried salmon or ice cream

🍂He LOVES to give hugs and is a certified therapy dog

🍂His name is a Korean way to say “hi” as he was from South Korea

🍂He was rescued and passed through 3 dog rescue originations and 2 foster homes before he found his fur-ever home with mom

Hayo is the most perfect boy ever, so the next time you see him make sure to tell him “hay-o”!!🤎

What an unforgettable day! ☀️🐾

On Saturday, July 25th, we welcomed so many amazing people (and pups!) to our 2026 City Paws Summer Festival, and we’re still smiling thinking about it.

Seeing our community come together to support local businesses while celebrating our love for pets is exactly what this event is all about.

To every vendor, sponsor, volunteer, donor, and attendee—thank you. Your support, enthusiasm, and generosity helped make this year’s festival our best one yet. We are so grateful to everyone who donated silent auction items, spent the afternoon with us, and helped create such a welcoming and fun atmosphere for families, friends, and four-legged companions alike.

We are especially excited to share that we raised over $1,750 for Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest! 💛🐾 All proceeds from the festival were donated to this incredible organization, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who helped us make this donation possible.

We hope you made some wonderful memories, discovered a few new favorite local businesses, and had as much fun as we did. We can’t wait to do it all again next summer!

Until next year… thank you for making the 2026 City Paws Summer Festival one to remember. 🐶☀️
