Attention cat owners on medications: Is your cat on a compounded medication? If so, their medication may have been recalled.

Wedgewood pharmacy issued a huge recall for compounded prescriptions that were sent out between February 18 and October 6.

The recalled medications could have too much OR too little medication in them. Both are bad for different reasons.

Even if you didn’t order directly through Wedgewood, Wedgewood supplies compounded medications to other suppliers and veterinary practices.

What should you do? Check your cat’s medication against Wedgewood’s recall list (I’ll post a link in my bio on Instagram and the comments on Facebook). Follow the instructions on Wedgewood’s website and contact your veterinarian for instructions on what to do next with your pet.

If you don’t know if your medication came from Wedgewood, contact wherever you purchased it from and ask. Affected vet practices are beh g instructed to contact clients who may be affected as well.

Depending on what medication your cat is on, your veterinarian can guide you on how concerned you should be if you do have an affected lot. Don’t be afraid to reach out to them or Wedgewood with concerns!

It’s a big day for our sweet Poutine! 3 years ago Poutine came home to live with us. He spent the next 24 hours hiding under my dresser 😞 but he quickly decided that no, he needed to rub himself up against me.

Then the talking began. He very quickly let me know he has lots of strong opinions! We love Poutine’s opinions, though 🥰

Poutine has been challenging at times because he can be so playful and friendly, but it’s part of what makes him so special. I could not imagine my life without this sweet dude.

Please wish my sweet Poutine a happy Gotcha Day! As always, I’ll read them all to him.

(And if you need help with a new cat, I’ve got a video on bringing home a new cat on my YouTube channel. I also have tons of new cat resources on my blog!)

Poutine has gotten into an epic Pokémon battle with Mew. Who do you think will win? Poutine’s attacks are crunch, screech, headbutt, and eating a Churu.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s a SUPER REVIEW!

A few months ago I got this strange idea to try reviewing ALL the varieties of Churu for cats. Me being me, rather than first looking up exactly how many different Churu products there were out there first, just started going for it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did decide that I won’t test every flavor, just the different forms Churu comes in.

Instead of writing one review for each, I decided I’m making one giant review of all of them. I’ve gotten three done so far, have three more tested and just need to write them up, and have two other kinds of Churu currently on their way.

I’ve posted the first three on my blog and will update the same post as I complete testing. I have… a lot still to do. 😹 Thankfully Poutine and Prozac have been more than willing to help.

And no, this is not sponsored. I paid for all test materials myself. I just like having my cats try different snacks 🤷🏻‍♂️
