The liquid inside is generally not considered toxic, but it can cause a strong bitter taste, excessive drooling, foaming, and mouth irritation. If your pet chews on a glow stick or glow jewelry, rinse their mouth with water and monitor them closely. 🐾

🐾🩷Welcome our October patient of the month, Sonora🩷🐾
Sonora is our 4-month-old, 4-pound blue merle Pomeranian who loves meeting everyone, especially children and babies! She’s a little adventurer who has already enjoyed kayaking, sailing, beach days, her first flight, and the KweStrong Indigenous Women’s Triathlon.
Thanks to frequent happy visits and positive reinforcement, Sonora loves coming to City Scape Vets for treats, pets, and friends. She was even so relaxed during her first vaccines that she barely noticed!✨💉

🐾 Choking:
✔️ Check the mouth for visible objects and gently remove them if possible.
✔️ If not breathing, try pet CPR (if trained) and head to the vet ASAP.

🩸 Bleeding:
✔️ Apply firm pressure with a clean cloth or gauze.
✔️ Elevate the area (if possible) and keep your pet calm.

⚠️ Poisoning:
✔️ Identify what was ingested and call a vet or pet poison hotline immediately.
✔️ Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a professional.
