These are hooves of a foundered mini pony in cu***ng Iowa that I just trimmed again on my 6 week schedule, using natural hoof care methods that I have learned to be a very valuable tool for all horses, the first four photos are from today and the last two are from the first trim in October of 2017. This little girl is back to normal and having a great time playing with the kids, she runs & bucks all over. Good consistent trimming, diet changed and now a Happy pony.

I had a very interesting conversation just now with one of my good customers that I've been trimming her horses feet for two years
She retired and in January what to Texas with her horse to trail ride for 3 months she was told by the ranch owner to have her horse shod because he would not be able to stand up to all the rock that they ride in.
I told her I felt that her horse could walk there and be fine but she should at least get front boots just in case, but she wasn't sure if she would be strong enough to put the boots on everyday so she went down there and ask the ranch farrier to look at her horse and see about shoeing it if he thought her horse needed it. The farrier said that this horse has excellent Hooves thick soles and would not need shoes put on it just a lite trimming.
She has been very excited to be riding all the trails and everybody commenting about her Barefoot horse and she has had no issues with him.
She called to thank me for helping her get such good hard hooves on all her horses, and to set up her next trim when she gets back in 3 weeks.
Natural Hoof Care works very well as long as people stay on a regular schedule and help us help the horse and you will save money and have a lot more fun. thank you

These are the finish for pictures of Susan's horse that I trimmed on Saturday this is that foundered horse that was extremely sore when we got done he was able to stand comfortable and not fight me because he's feet were feeling a lot nicer. Then I took him out and I told Susan that I bet he will be comfortable walking on the Rock driveway. I walked him around for a little bit so he could feel what his new feet felt like and then we walked on the driveway and then jog on the driveway we went up and down the driveway 60 ft doing a nice jog. I turned him back out into the pasture and about an hour later when I was finishing with the other horses I watched him lopa cross the pasture with two other horses to go over to get water. This horse is not cured we are changing up how we're going to take care of his diet this summer because nobody at ever explained it all to Susan how to care for a foundered horse but I think in about 3 or 4 more trims this worse will be extremely comfortable and be able to be ridden on most types of surfaces, I will keep updating you throughout the summer thank you.

These are four pictures of a foundered mini Pony he founded last year and he has been doing great ever since but you can still see he's got the seedy toe in the first and second pictures and his heels grow a little faster than normal but he is very sound and plays every day they say especially right after the trim. We have adjusted his feeding schedules what we feed him and just allow him to exercise with a grazing muzzle and not have a lot of green grass and that has made a huge difference for him. Please excuse the dirt and mud in the picture but this was the day in Iowa
