☀️2026 Summer Camps ☀️

3 day camp
Horsing around will be starting at 8am-1pm Tuesday through Thursday. We changed the time frame to avoid the summer heat! Horsing around includes horse information based games, daily horse riding, Dr Erin Barrett with Spearhead Veterinary Services will speak on Tuesdays. Mark Spray will be speaking on Wednesdays. Participants will also compete on the last day of camp in a riding competition and a contest to see who learned the most! Lunch will be provided at noon and everyone will get some time to paint a canvas (one of the favourite activities) as a wind down activity before heading home. The camp is $500 ages 8+, there are 6 spots available for each camp date and there are always 2 adults present during the camp.

3 hour camp

In addition to the horsing around camp we will be hosting

🐴Pony Days🐴
9am-12pm
This will be a 3 hour long experience for kiddos who are younger than 8 or for those with very busy schedules! Participants will all get the opportunity to ride, learn to care for a horse, and groom a horse. Depending on the weather they may even give a horse a bath! This is a great opportunity to introduce kids to the equine world! This camp experience is $60 there are 6 spots available, ages 4+ and there will be two adults present at all times.

Ranch horse clinic March 21st

Due to a recent cancellation, there are 2 spots available for the ranch horse clinic this weekend. We will focus on improving manoeuvres, pattern placement, understanding judging and what judges look for. Everything to prepare you and your horse for the 2026 show year. The clinic starts at 9am and goes until 2pm. $125 per rider $25 for spectators. To sign up please dm or text (641)757-2950

There are 2 openings for the march 21st clinic!
The clinic will be ranch oriented, we will focus on manoeuvres, what the judges are looking for and go over patterns. We will start at 9am at bounurant, and we will ride for 5 hours, so bring a comfy saddle!
The clinic is $125 per rider, spectators are welcome for $25 attendance.

Getting ready for the 2026 show year? Need a little refresher for yourself or you horse? AMC Performance Horses has two open training spots available, and availability for lessons. If you are looking to put a 30 day refresher on your horse, we specialise in reining, ranch horse, and all around training.
Openings currently available for march and a spot in April. May is currently open as well.

Dr. Erin is fantastic!

Have a young horse that you plan on sending to training in the new year? Set them up for success by having their teeth examined and appropriately maintained before they get there!

Dr. Barrett provides dental exams, routine dental floats, and wolf tooth extractions, if necessary 🦷

Last weeks summer camp was so much fun!

Big thanks to Leah Ried Photography for coming out to chat, the girls took some great pictures and enjoyed the experience!

Another thanks goes to Mark Spray for coming to the farm and talking about his business as a farrier, their biggest take away was self care and preventing burnout!

Finally thank you Dr. Gallo from Running G Equine for talking with the girls about your experience as a vet! They were intimidated by the amount of school however I know one of the girls is very excited to get started!

I look forward to next weeks summer camp Horse’n Around!
