We love teamwork! The wonderful ladies at Progressive asked to work together on a complex case and we were very excited to be a part of Benji’s journey ❤️

🐾💚Meet this superstar named Benji💚🐾

Benji is an 8-year-old Terrier mix who came to us for a second opinion—and that second opinion quickly turned into an emergency cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal). 🏥

A cholecystectomy is a major surgery, and like any emergency procedure, it comes with risks such as bleeding, infection, anesthetic complications, and inflammation or leakage from the biliary system. Thankfully, Benji had the care he needed when he needed it most. 🥹💚

And because veterinary medicine is always better with friends, teamwork, and support, the Progressive Pet Hospital crew packed up and headed to Moore Veterinary Clinic 💜 to share knowledge, skills, and perspective. 🤝🐾 We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from one another and work together for our patients!

Benji’s recovery was definitely a rough one, but this little fighter has made huge strides and is doing so much better now! 🐶✨

We are SO excited to share that Dr. Moore and I have been selected for the 2026–2027 Leadership Webster class! 🎉💜 This is such an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and become even more involved in the community we love and serve. We can’t wait to learn alongside other amazing leaders from right here in Webster Parish! 🫶🏼 Starting September 9th, you may notice us out of the office on the second Wednesday of each month as we head out into the community for Leadership Webster. 👋🏼🏘️ BUT DON’T WORRY! Your fur babies are still in good hands! 🐾💜 We will have our wonderful ladies here at the clinic taking care of tech appointments, medication refills, and all the things you need while we’re out learning and growing! We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and so excited to represent Moore Veterinary Clinic while investing in the future of our community. 💜
