A routine drop-in visit may have turned into something much more serious. 🏠🐾
One of our sitters arrived for a normal drop-in visit, expecting to check on the pets and make sure everything was okay.

But while he was there, he noticed something unusual — smoke coming from underneath the cover of the client's grill.

He immediately investigated and discovered that the grill appeared to have been accidentally switched on. He removed the cover and unplugged it before leaving the property.

We may never know exactly what would have happened if he hadn't noticed the smoke. The grill cover could have potentially caught fire and, under the right circumstances, that fire could have spread.
We're not saying our sitter definitely saved the house — but he may have prevented a much bigger problem simply by paying attention.

This is why professional pet sitting is about more than just feeding your pets, giving them some attention, and heading out the door.

When our sitters enter your home, they're paying attention to their surroundings, too. Because sometimes, the little things you notice can make a BIG difference.

Your pets aren't the only ones we're watching over. ❤️

Do you love animals and want a job where every day comes with wagging tails, happy paws, and plenty of furry faces? 🐶🐱

Furriendly Critter Sitters is looking for another amazing pet sitter to join our team!

🐾 Pay: $16/hour, part-time
🐾 W-2 employment
🐾 PTO
🐾 401(k)
🐾 Flexible, pet-filled work environment
🐾 Experience working with pets is preferred
🐾 Open availability is strongly preferred
🐾 Hours vary based on client bookings

What we’re looking for:
• Must be 18 or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Preferably lives in Titusville or Mims
• Comfortable caring for both dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals to include farm animals.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and great with animals
• Comfortable traveling to clients’ homes throughout our service area
• Must be able to pass a background check

This is a great position for someone who genuinely loves animals, enjoys working independently, and is looking for a flexible job that’s a little different from the typical 9-to-5.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: We’ve officially been exposed. 😂🐾

Apparently Furriendly Critter Sitters is under investigation for excessive pet spoiling, suspiciously clean litter boxes, unsolicited mail checking, and sending way too many pet photos.
We have no comment at this time. Our legal team is currently busy giving belly rubs. 🐶🐱
