Our friend Suki came in for an anesthetic procedure the other day and left with a Bunny friend who kept her cool calm and collected throughout her stay with us. 🐇
We use our Feliway and Thunder-ease sprays on their new fluffy friend and put them in their kennel in hopes for a day full of fluffy bunnies instead of a scary surgery. 😊💗

Call us to schedule your spays and neuters! 🌟
If they have stinky breath, call to schedule an exam to get them on the surgical list for a dental cleaning to get those teeth squeaky clean!🦷

You’ve probably heard of the “kennel cough vaccine,” but there are a few common misconceptions about what the Bordetella vaccine actually does. 👀

🦠 MYTH: “The Bordetella vaccine prevents ALL kennel cough.”
✨ FACT: Kennel cough (also called canine infectious respiratory disease) can be caused by several different viruses and bacteria. Bordetella vaccination helps protect against Bordetella bronchiseptica, one of the common causes, but it doesn’t cover every possible respiratory infection.
🦠 MYTH: “My dog doesn’t go to boarding, so they don’t need it.”
✨ FACT: Dogs can encounter respiratory infections anywhere they interact with other dogs — daycare, dog parks, grooming salons, training classes, boarding facilities, and even veterinary visits.

🐾 Bottom line: Vaccination is one important part of reducing your dog’s risk of respiratory illness — especially if they regularly socialize with other dogs.

Have questions about whether your dog needs a Bordetella vaccine? Ask your veterinary team! 💙💛
