Starting at the age of 6, Ceyda Sezer quickly developed an intense passion for the horse industry. Although not in one place for long, Ceyda learned her basics & fundamentals in the hunter and equitation disciplines, later adding onto her riding resume impressively. Quickly she found herself training with Olympic rider & the "founding father" of Hunt Seat Equitation, George Morris & Olympic rider,

Chris Kappler from 2004 to 2006 increasing her knowledge into Show Jumping. She would later find herself training with Olympic rider Anne Kursinski from 2006 to 2010. From 2013 to 2014, Ceyda took on training in Classic Dressage to expand her knowledge further with Michelle Gibson. Seven Hills Farm is an elite training facility for the serious Hunter, Jumper and Equitation riders. Wrapping up an incredible two weeks in Kentucky for the SHF team! Our second week brought more great rounds, and continued progress from each of our horse-and-rider combinations. We are so proud of everything our team accomplished throughout our time in Kentucky!

✨ Massimo Jimenez & Wish Upon A Star continued their progress in the Crossrails, putting in great rounds throughout the week and adding another Reserve champion and class win to their growing list of accomplishments!

✨Lucca Jimenez & Neon Moon had an incredible second week in the Walk/Trot Poles, winning every one of their classes! After stepping out of Leadline and into the division for the first time just the week before, we are so proud of the confidence and progress Lucca has shown with his first pony.

✨ Chris French & Lissandro continued their success in the Long Stirrup division, putting in consistent rounds and bringing home top ribbons, including a class win!

✨ Sammy Jimenez & Milagro Con Fuegos continued to build their partnership in the 1.0m Adult Jumpers, producing good, consistent rounds and gaining valuable experience together with every trip into the ring.

✨ Ceyda Sezer & New Beginnings continued their season in the 3’9” Green Hunters, putting in consistent rounds and continuing to strengthen their partnership at the top of the Green Hunter divisions.

We couldn’t have asked for a better two weeks in Kentucky, we are heading home incredibly proud of our horses, riders, and the entire team behind them. Until next time, Kentucky!

What a way to kick off our first week in Kentucky! The SHF team had an incredible week enjoying everything Kentucky has to offer while celebrating exciting milestones. We couldn’t be prouder of this group and are so grateful to spend the week in such a beautiful place doing what we love!

✨ Ceyda Sezer & New Beginnings took on the USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Finals in the 3’6”/3’9” section, finishing an impressive 10th Tier II among a competitive group of some of the country’s top horses! We are incredibly proud of this pair and all they have accomplished throughout their Green Hunter career!

🏆 Massimo Jimenez & Wish Upon A Star had a standout weekend, continuing their progress in the Crossrails and Walk/Trot/Canter flat classes. The pair earned Reserve Champion on Saturday before coming back on Sunday to win every one of their classes and take home Champion!

✨ Lucca Jimenez & Neon Moon reached an exciting new milestone, stepping out of Leadline and into the Walk/Trot Poles for the very first time! Lucca did a fantastic job navigating this next step, we are so excited to watch this little partnership continue to grow!

✨ Sammy Jimenez & Milagro Con Fuegos continued developing their partnership in the 1.0m Adult Jumpers, putting in consistent rounds and gaining more valuable experience together with every trip into the ring!

✨ Chris French & Lissandro continued their season in the Long Stirrup division, bringing home consistent ribbons and continuing to work toward their goals together!

From competing at Incentive Finals, earning champion ribbons, move-ups, and continued growth, there was so much to celebrate during our first week in Kentucky. We are incredibly proud of each of our horses and riders and can’t wait to see what the rest of our time here has in store!

A special post for this incredible pair!

Congratulations to Ceyda Sezer and New Beginnings on their stand out two weeks at Tryon International!

This partnership continued their successful and consistent season in the 3’9” Greens, earning consistent top ribbons, including a class win, before going on to earn Reserve Champion in the 3’6”/3’9” USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Regional Championship. We can not wait to see what they will accomplish at the National Green Horse Incentive Finals in Kentucky in just a few weeks!

To top off an already incredible and memorable two weeks, Ceyda and New Beginnings achieved a carrier goal by competing in their very first International Hunter Derby together! Finishing in 5th in a very competitive field during a World Champion Hunter Rider week. This milestone marks an exciting new chapter for their partnership and is a testament to the time and patience it takes to develop a hunter to this level.

We are so grateful to the incredible mentors and support team which has made this personal and professional goal a reality!

Another successful two weeks at Tryon International for the SHF team and we are so very proud of all our riders, horses, and families for all that they accomplished these two weeks!

✨ Massimo Jimenez and Wish Upon a Star had an outstanding two weeks, winning the walk/trot equitation and earning Reserve Champion in the Walk/Trot! The pair also accomplished the exciting goal of moving into the Cross Rails Division and finishing with top ribbons. These two weeks truly show the impressive effort and dedication that this pair puts into their training!

✨Chris French and Lissandro continued to grow in the Long Stirrup Division finishing consistently in the ribbons, gaining valuable experience and working towards new goals and consistent success!

✨ Sammy Jimenez and Milagro continued to build their exiting new partnership in the 1.0m adult jumpers, highlighted by an impressive 4th place finish in the Classic!

✨ Massimo Jimenez and Neon Moon also stepped into the ring for the Cross Rails Division, doing an excellent job while navigating a new partnership!

✨ Luca Jimenez and Neon Moon returned to the Tryon Stadium once again for leadline and continue to grow together, along their exiting journey and partnership!

✨ Enora Jolivet and Lissandro made the most of a wonderful opportunity together, earning reserve champion in the 2’3” Foothills Hunters! A special thank you to Chris French for sharing her amazing partner with Enora!

Another fantastic week in Tryon for the SHF team! It is such a pleasure watching our riders and horses continue to grow together, and find success in and out of the show ring, and we are incredibly proud of all that our team accomplished throughout the week!

✨ Ceyda Sezer & New Beginnings successfully returned to the 3’9” Green Hunters, earning two 2nd place finishes over fences and a 2nd place finish in the Green Hunter Incentive class!

✨ Sammy Jimenez & Milagro continued to develop their partnership, winning the 1.0m Adult Amateur class on Saturday and finishing 4th in the 1.0m Adult Jumper Classic!

✨ Chris French & Lissandro continued their success in the Long Stirrup division, earning a class win along with several other top placings throughout the week!

✨ Massimo Jimenez & Wish Upon A Star were Reserve Champion in their Walk/Trot division once again in just their second horse show together!

✨ Lucca Jimenez & Neon Moon returned to the Tryon Stadium for Leadline, earning another well-deserved trophy and continuing their exciting journey together!

✨ Congratulations to Ellie Sender on the lease of Grandstand aka Bucky!

We are so excited for Ellie as she begins this new partnership with such a special horse and can’t wait to see all they accomplish together in this next chapter.

A heartfelt thank you to Sidney Couch and the entire Couch family for entrusting Bucky to our program over the years. It has been a privilege to be part of his journey and watch him develop into the incredible horse he is today.

We would also like to wish Ellie, her family, and Grandstand the very best as they begin this exciting new adventure together. Thank you Kelci Crenshaw for helping to make this special match possible! We can’t wait to follow along and cheer them on!

Recap from another successful outing for the SHF team at Tryon for the Spring Series weeks 2-3! From move-ups and milestone rounds to horse show debuts and continued partnership development, we are incredibly proud of all that our riders and horses accomplished throughout these weeks.

✨ Ceyda Sezer & New Beginnings had a standout week during World Championship Hunter Rider week, earning ribbons in the 3’6” Performance Hunters and finishing 7th in the Open Section of the National Derby in the Tryon Stadium!

✨ Sammy Jimenez & Numero Uno successfully moved up to the 1.10m Adult Jumpers, earning consistent ribbons throughout the division along with an impressive 6th place finish in the Classic in the Tryon Stadium!

✨ Sammy Jimenez & Milagro Con Fuegos had a fantastic start to their partnership, earning a win in the .90m Open Jumpers along with multiple top ribbons in the 1.0m Adult Jumpers!

✨ Massimo & Wish Upon a Star made their horse show debut in the Walk/Trot division, finishing the week Reserve Champion!

✨ Lucca & Neon Moon also stepped into the show ring for the first time in the Leadline division, earning a very well-deserved trophy!

✨ Chris French & Lissandro continued to develop their partnership with successful rounds in the Long Stirrup and Foothills Adult Hunters!

✨ Grandstand spent the week meeting potential new partners as Sidney Couch prepares for her next chapter heading off to college!
