It's taken a few days to get over the AEC horse show hangover. This AEC weekend was an emotional one for sure! Lots of miles, memories, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting! 🏆🐴
We are so proud of Maya and Logan and their rides this weekend! Both ladies put in the work, rode great, and came home with some great lessons and memories to cherish.

And then there was the small matter of saying goodbye to Logan’s pony, Emmie. 💕 After being Logan’s partner for so many adventures, Emmie is officially off to Texas to start her next job as another kid’s favorite pony.

There were a few tears (mostly Jaime) plenty of hugs and buckets of cookies! But mostly, we’re just incredibly grateful for all the miles, lessons, ribbons, laughs, and memories these two have shared. Thank you to Caroline for trusting us with Emmie, we look forward to when she comes back "home".

Now Emmie gets to go make another kid just as crazy about her as Logan is. We’ll miss her around here — but we have a feeling she’ll be running the farm in Texas in approximately 48 hours. 😆🐴

Congratulations to Maya and Logan on a fantastic AEC weekend, and best of luck to Emmie and her new kid on their next adventure!

What a fun weekend at Poplar Place Farm!! Halen took both her boys to play this weekend, Shaggy took 1st in the BN 3 phase finishing on his dressage score! Her boy Scooby got to go play in the sand box and put down some nice scores to win the USDF First level test one class!! Charlotte and her gal Rose did their first Training CT together and had ALL the fun bringing home a blue ribbon!! Putting down their best dressage test to date and a solid Show jumping round! So fun to see these two getting to know each other!! Ariel and her boy Brego, might not have had the dressage test they expected, he certainly made up for it with a super quiet and soft show jumping round to bring home the 4th in the Starter CT! Emily and Connie might have had to much fun schooling the Training show jumping on Friday that they opted to chill on Saturday and root the rest of the crew on and be the best paparazzi ever!

It's been a crazy few weeks for the RME crew!

A couple weekends ago, Jen and Firmijn snuck off to Bouckaert for the USDF show and put down a 69.3% at 4-3!! Thank you to Adam of Atlanta Dressage for all your patience in helping the heathen Eventer figure the fancy dressage out!

This past weekend, we took down to Ocala for the Area 3 Championships! Starting the weekend off was our 3 Novice Riders! Everyone put down solid dressage scores,

-- So happy to see the pieces falling together for Charlotte and Shannon's girl Rose! Finishing on their dressage score for a 6th place finish!
--Emily and her girl Connie were 5th also finishing on their dressage score!!! Connie is getting more and more solid each outing and starting to grow up a bit!!
--Tammy and her boy Figgy had a stunning show jumping round, but the heat got the better of them and they saved their quarters for another day (maybe when it's not so humid!!)

RME's BNR's did not disappoint either!!!
-- Maya and RME's pony Daz finished on their dressage score for a 9th in the championship division! While our dressage score wasn't what we were aiming for, the steps we made in making the next show amazing are HUGE!
--Valley and Dee had an amazing weekend as well, a soft dressage test followed up by of course Vally being awesome on XC. Just a touch of time in show jumping bumped them down a bit but overall the pieces are coming together for these 2 and we are soooo excited to see the places they will go!!!
--Lastly Logan and Caroline's beautiful Princess finished on their dressage score for a 3rd place finish in the JR BNR division!! These 2 need bigger jumps soon!!

Next up for the RME crews is a schooling show at Bouckeart this weekend and then GDCTA's Eventing camp hosted by the amazing Joanne Morse! Then off to Poplar for another schooling show!

July is a time for pools and vacations!! And prepping for the American Eventing Championships!!

It’s been a busy few weeks and so much going on! But we all had a blast the last couple days at the Lucinda Green XC clinic at Full Gallop Farm. Everyone had a successful clinic learning so much and having making new friends! Looking forward to putting our new skills into practice!
