Wrapping up Vet Tech Week with full hearts!

What a fun week celebrating some of the most hardworking, caring, and incredible people at Broadview Animal Hospital! From crafts and good food to fun themed days, we’ve loved having a little extra time to celebrate the people who give so much of themselves to our patients, their families, and each other.

Our veterinary technicians are so much more than the hands that help provide care. They are the comfort our patients need when they're scared, the calm in the middle of a busy day, the support their teammates can count on, and the compassionate people who make a difference in countless ways, every single day.

We have so much respect for the knowledge, dedication, patience, and heart they bring to their work. We know this job isn't always easy, and we hope this week has reminded our techs just how valued, appreciated, and loved they truly are.

It's Vet Tech Week, and we're celebrating some pretty amazing people!

Our vet techs are the ones offering comfort when a pet is scared, keeping calm when things get hectic, celebrating the little victories, and always stepping up when they're needed.

They work hard, care deeply, and give so much of themselves to our patients, their people, and each other. We couldn't imagine Broadview without them, and we're so thankful for everything they do!

We love our techs, and this week is all about celebrating them!

Be sure to show a vet tech some extra love this week. They deserve it!

We’re excited to introduce you to Mariah! She’s been part of the Broadview family for six years and is stepping into a new role as Office Manager at our Portsmouth location. Get to know a little more about Mariah and join us in wishing her the best in this exciting new chapter!

Meet Mariah, our Portsmouth Office Manager!

If you’re already part of the Broadview family, you may know Mariah! She’s been part of Broadview for the past six years, and we’re excited to share that she’ll be taking on a new role as Office Manager at our Portsmouth location!

What Mariah loves most about veterinary medicine is the special bond between people and their pets, and the opportunity to support that relationship. She appreciates Broadview’s approach to medicine and has a special place in her heart for patients who may be a little less comfortable at the vet. Helping them build trust, celebrating the small steps, and watching their confidence grow are some of the most rewarding parts of her work.

Outside of work, Mariah enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures through their food and traditions, and discovering new favorites as a self-proclaimed foodie. She also has a passion for working with behavioral dogs and supporting shelters and rescues, especially pets who are often overlooked. At home, she has two senior pitties, Cody and Eeyore, and a soft spot for fostering and providing hospice care to pets who need a little extra love.

As we prepare to open our Portsmouth location, Mariah is looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, getting to know more of the community, and continuing to provide the exceptional veterinary care and compassion that Broadview is known for.

Please join us in celebrating Mariah’s new role and wishing her all the best as she helps bring Broadview to Portsmouth. We’re so excited for this next chapter!

That’s a wrap on another Junior Vets session!

We had such an amazing group of kids join us for our Dermatology (Skin) session, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group. They were engaged, curious, asked great questions, and were ready to learn from start to finish. It was so much fun watching their interest in veterinary medicine come to life!

A big thank you to all of the parents who brought their Junior Vets and supported their curiosity and love for animals. And of course, we couldn’t do these days without our amazing volunteers who gave their time and helped make the session possible. We appreciate you!

Thank you to everyone who spent part of their Saturday with us. We hope our Junior Vets left with some new knowledge, some great memories, and maybe an even bigger interest in veterinary medicine.

We’re already looking forward to the next one!

CVTs - what if your next move actually felt like a step forward? 🐾

Broadview is growing, and this is an exciting time to join our team!

In just one month, we’ll open the doors to our fourth Broadview location in Portsmouth, and we’re looking for talented Certified Veterinary Technicians to join us in Rochester, Dover, Milton, and Portsmouth.

We are proudly privately owned, veterinarian-led, and AAHA accredited and we believe CVTs should have the opportunity to actually practice at the top of their license.

Your credential matters. Your skills matter. Your ideas matter.

Whether you love anesthesia and surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, advanced patient care, client education, or you're looking for an environment where you can continue learning and growing, we want to know what you want from the next chapter of your career.

Maybe you aren't actively job searching. That's okay. Sometimes the right opportunity is worth a conversation. ❤
