Good morning!

I will no longer be working Saturdays until probably close to holiday season. My kids have reached sporting ages, and I refuse to miss those precious moments. This is why the whole reason I went into business for myself. I missed so much before going into business for myself, and I will not be doing that anymore! 😂

My babies are now all showing their bunnies, trying to get involved with the dog shows, and one is cheering! Woohoo!!

Thank you for allowing us to be able to do this, and watching our babies grow.

We love you all!

“Hey everyone! 🐾

Before you leave, don’t forget to check out the treat machine up front!

This isn’t your average gumball machine—each capsule has a surprise inside, either a yummy dog treat for your pup or a fun sticker! 🎉🐶

Every turn helps support Tucker’s Dementia Fund. Tucker is the beloved dachshund of our fellow groomer, Leah with From Wags to Riches, who works here in the building with us. Tucker is living with canine dementia, and every donation helps with his care.

One quick favor: after you open your capsule, please take out your treat and sticker and place the empty ball in the basket next to the machine so we can reuse them. ♻️

Thank you so much for supporting Tucker, Leah, and a fellow small business. We truly appreciate it! ❤️🐾”

💜 Happy Hoodie + Belly Band = A Safer, Less Stressful Groom! 💜

Ever wonder what your pup is wearing during their groom? 🐶

The black wrap in this photo is a Happy Hoodie, and it’s one of my favorite tools for helping anxious dogs feel more comfortable. It gently muffles the sound of dryers and helps keep ears protected, making the grooming experience much less overwhelming.

The support strap is a Belly Band, which helps support dogs while they’re standing on the grooming table. It’s especially helpful for seniors, dogs with mobility issues, or pups who get tired during grooming. It provides extra stability and helps keep the grooming process safe and comfortable.

✨ These tools are:
🐾 Gentle and humane
🐾 Great for nervous or wiggly dogs
🐾 Helpful during drying and grooming
🐾 Used to create a calmer, safer grooming experience

Your dog’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. ❤️

Pictured: one adorable little squishy face rocking a Happy Hoodie and Belly Band like a champ! 🥰

🚨 KENNEL COUGH UPDATE 🐾

As many of you may have heard, there has been an increase in kennel cough cases in our area. I wanted to take a moment to share some helpful information and ask everyone to do their part in keeping our local dogs healthy.

Kennel cough is a contagious respiratory illness that can spread very easily anywhere dogs spend time around one another. Whether it’s during walks, at the groomer, boarding, daycare, the veterinarian’s office, dog parks, pet stores, or any other place dogs visit, exposure is always possible.

The virus and bacteria that cause kennel cough can spread through coughing, sneezing, barking, direct contact with other dogs, shared water bowls or toys, and contaminated surfaces. One of the reasons it spreads so easily is because some dogs are contagious before they ever develop a cough or show any other signs of illness.

Signs to watch for include:
🐶 A dry, hacking cough
🐶 Gagging or coughing after excitement
🐶 Sneezing
🐶 Runny nose or watery eyes
🐶 Feeling more tired than usual
🐶 Reduced appetite
🐶 Fever in some cases

If your dog begins showing any of these symptoms, please keep them at home and contact your veterinarian for guidance. It’s also a good idea to avoid places where dogs gather until your veterinarian says your pet is no longer contagious.

It’s important to remember that kennel cough is not necessarily the result of poor sanitation or negligence. Because dogs can carry and spread the illness before showing symptoms, even businesses that clean thoroughly and follow strict health protocols can unknowingly have an infected dog visit their facility.

The best way we can all help reduce the spread is by:
✔️ Keeping your dog’s vaccines current and talking with your veterinarian about Bordetella and other recommended respiratory vaccines.
✔️ Keeping your dog home if they’re coughing or not feeling well.
✔️ Letting me know as soon as possible if your dog develops symptoms before a scheduled grooming appointment so we can find a better time to get them looking their best.

Thank you for helping protect not only your own dog, but every dog in our community. A little extra caution goes a long way, and I truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation. ❤️🐾
