Thanks for all the calls and messages.

We been out of power since approx 8pm, have a lot of downed trees on the property, lost the pigeon coop, lost quite a few Quail, but the house, dogs, and kennel are fine. Thank the Lord, it could’ve been worse. It got quite a bit crazier than expected.

There is a last minute addendum to the Farm Bill that would ban the use of live animals being used for dog training. Obviously, an issue for trainers and those of us who participate in hunt tests, field trials, or hunt/train at sporting clubs and chapters.

Please consider filling out the attached letter from Sportsman’s Alliance (link below). Once you add your zip code, it will populate with your Senator’s information. Hopefully, the language can be amended in the Senate.
