šŸ¤2026 Farm Show continuedšŸ¤

We also had goats at pa farm and they definitely didnā€™t disappoint either. I wanted to place in top 10 of each class and we achieved that for sure! Moon pie got 2/10 dry yearling, Vasper got 4/8 3-4yr old, and Nilla got 6/8 5yr old+. Overall it was an amazing first time showing dairy goats at the farm show. Canā€™t wait to do it next year.. only less sick next year. Congrats to everyone who won throughout the week. Onto Pasrba next!

One of my favorite shows ever! Canā€™t wait for what the rest of the week holds. We will be doing two rabbit demos throughout the week along with showing dairy goats towards that end. We had a great day at the rabbit show today with lots of wins and tons of ribbons!

I havenā€™t given an update recently but here are my past three fairs Iā€™ve done so far!! I started at Lycoming County fair Mid July, then Montour Delong End of July, and now currently Union County West end. Here are some highlights

Lycoming County Fair:
Rabbits- BOB/RIS English Lop, BOSB English, BOB Mini Lop, BOSB Mini Lop, BOB Netherland Dwarf
Goats- Grand Champion Alpine, 1st place 5yr and older doe

Montour Delong fair:
Rabbit- BIS, 1st place jr doe. 1st place senior showmanship
Goats- Grand and Reserve Champion AOP dairy goats. 2nd place senior showmanship

UCWEF- 1st Netherland Dwarf buck and doe, 1st place English Lop buck and doe. Also 1st place senior showmanship!! This is the
first year theyā€™ve done it at this fair

Today we ended up going to the butler rabbit show after a long day at the sharpsburg farm swap yesterday. I was very pleased with my places against some amazing breeders/friends

Broken Mini Lop- 2nd SSD both shows

I was so honored to have Ollie my himi jr buck earn his second leg in this show today. He also got a second look on the BIS table which was super awesome to see! He is a beautiful buck and I canā€™t wait to see how he develops. I also ended up picking up a new goat at the farm swap yesterday. It was a great weekend hanging out with friends! Especially my passenger buddy Courtnee lol!! Canā€™t wait till the next shows

Hereā€™s a post thatā€™s a little different and not about rabbits. Early Friday morning we welcomed our first goats born at the farm! It was so nice to wake up and have two extra faces to greet me! I canā€™t wait to show Nilla in milk and her kid(s) that I choose to retain! Happy belated birthday to these beautiful girls!!!!

Another post I thought I would never make, but Eclipse passed the rainbow bridge this morning. We have been monitoring our pet bunny Eclipse overnight as she hasnā€™t been doing so hot. She wasnt eating or going to the restroom. Early this morning we took her to the nearest er exotic vet 2 hrs away. We were getting ready to take her home to go to another closer home vet as she was doing better and she passed away after getting some pain injections in the back room. The vets were beyond sweet there and more than kind, they helped so much during a hard day. Now a little bit about Eclipse, she was my first Netherland I ever purchased. She was the most cage aggressive rabbit. We slowly worked with her on getting her use to people and she became the sweetest bunny. She was my first show rabbit who quickly turned brood due to a dewlap. Thank you for making me love rabbits especially dwarfs and getting so involved in them. Thank you for being the best show and showmanship bunny ever. She was the best pet anyone ould ask for. Fly high baby, have fun with Flame up there šŸ©µ
