Chico is 4 years old, about 70 pounds, and described as a very friendly boy. He loves playing fetch, tug-of-war, and going for walks. Unfortunately his dad is unable to keep him at his apartment and the friend who offered to help, just BACKED OUT. Now Chico is left with no one.

She went to boarding for Labor Day. No one came back for her. 💔

Her name is Sophia, and today she’s the reason behind our $5 Friday.

Look at Sophia’s smile. ❤️
She has absolutely no idea she was abandoned at boarding.

Over Labor Day weekend, Sophia was placed in boarding while her foster was away.

😥 But no one came back for her.

No phone call.
No explanation.
No warning.

💔 Sophia was simply left there.

We still don’t know why. What we do know is, ONCE A MYLO DOG, ALWAYS A MYLO DOG… when a Mylo dog is left behind, we show up.

And this is exactly why the third Friday of every month is Boarding Friday.

👉 Emergency boarding is one of those rescue expenses nobody sees coming. Sometimes we have hours — not days — to figure out where a dog will sleep. And when there isn’t an available foster home, boarding may be the only safe option we have.

Sophia needed us and her unexpected boarding costs are ours to cover.

So today we’re asking for something small:
