We have been actively posting a weekly Farmer/Business Spotlight. This helps to promote our rural economy in the Northern Shenandoah Valley (Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren), highlight agribusiness, and show how each is associated with Virginia Cooperative Extension.

Every Friday for a year VCE would like to do a and/or posted right here on this page.

Our twenty-fourth spotlight is Fox Bug Farm LLC located right near Millwood in Clarke County, Virginia. They are a first generation farm who started farming in 2001 and they have taken off and now offer horse boarding, hay sales, beef sales, and horse, livestock and equipment transport. They are continuously motivated by seeing their hay fields grow and seeing the calves born each year. They own 194 acre and lease 340+ acres as well as run 100+ head of cattle, 20+ horses boarded and personally own 6 horses. They love what they do and love being involved in the industry. FoxBug Farm is involved with Virginia Cooperative Extension by hosting site visits and being a VCE volunteer.
