After a crime scene buried in fur, false leads, and enough evidence contamination to make investigators quit on the spot… NOVA was caught😈🐾

She tried to use the chaos of the grooming salon to her advantage, but our detectives still managed to sniff out the evidence. Another mutt-erer behind bars & another round of $5 Grooming Credits earned!💰🚔

By now, you’d think the dogs of Rott N’ K9 would have learned one very important lesson:

Clean up your crime scene…

Apparently… they have learned the exact opposite😐

When investigators entered the salon following reports of suspicious activity, the scene was an absolute disaster!

Hair. EVERYWHERE.

Long hair. Short hair. Dark hair. Light hair. Little tumbleweeds tucked beneath tables. Clumps suspiciously close to the scene. Enough loose fur scattered across the floor to make investigators immediately wonder:

Did the victim put up a fight?! 👀

Forensics began collecting samples. Detectives started comparing colors and textures to the suspects. One particularly suspicious clump appeared to point directly toward a dog in the lineup…

Until investigators realized something…

The hair means absolutely nothing!
It’s a DOG GROOMING SALON, they should have an easy escape by covering their tracks in the perfect place to contaminate a crime scene!

Investigators now believe the excessive hair was deliberately kicked, dragged and scattered throughout the salon to cover paw prints, confuse the evidence trail and send detectives sniffing in completely the wrong direction🫪

And unfortunately?

It worked.

Because somewhere underneath that hairy disaster, a much smaller piece of evidence was nearly overlooked.

The timeline is messy, too.

A loud commotion was reportedly heard earlier in the day—but witnesses can’t agree whether it happened before or after lunch. One suspect was seen lingering suspiciously close to the scene, while another reportedly disappeared for several minutes.

Neither has been cleared.

One dog seemed unusually nervous during questioning.

Another slept through the entire investigation.

And one was reportedly way too happy to see investigators, which frankly feels suspicious all by itself👀

But only ONE actually committed the crime.

And unlike our earlier mutt-erers, this one seems to have learned from every criminal who came before them.

🚨🐾 DOGGONE-IT, WHO DONE IT? — CASE #4🐾🚨

Something has been brewing at Rott N’ K9 since Saturday morning…

At first, nobody thought much of it. Dogs came in. Dogs went home. Baths were given, nails were trimmed, and an alarming number of suspects left the building smelling far too clean for what we now know was happening behind the scenes👀

Then came Sunday…

Different dogs. Same strange energy.

By Monday morning, investigators realized the horrifying truth:

They’d been plotting together for THREE. DAYS. 👀

Saturday’s dogs started the plan. Sunday’s crew allegedly helped cover their tracks. Monday’s lineup was supposed to provide the perfect distraction🧐

But despite an entire weekend of conspiring…

only ONE dog actually did it🤷🏻‍♀️

At approximately 2:37 PM Monday, a member of the Rott N’ K9 staff discovered the victim😞

The scene was… confusing🥸

A chair had been moved from its usual spot. A towel was lying suspiciously on the floor. Several treats were missing from the treat jar. There were wet paw prints nearby—although investigators later determined they may have absolutely nothing to do with the crime!

One witness claims they heard three loud noises shortly before the discovery.

Another insists it was only two…

A third witness reportedly spent the entire afternoon licking the wall and has since been deemed unreliable😂

Investigators initially believed the crime may have occurred sometime Sunday night…It didn’t.

They questioned whether more than one dog physically participated…They didn’t.

And while several suspects had both motive and opportunity, only ONE crossed the line from co-conspirator to cold-blooded mutt-erer😈

The exact method?

Investigators aren’t releasing that information yet!

The first two arrests should’ve been a warning.

Sometime during today’s grooming schedule, while dryers roared loud enough to cover any suspicious activity, another crime was committed inside Rott N’ K9…

No witnesses.

No suspicious sounds.

And by the time anyone realized what had happened, the suspect was already back where they belonged—freshly groomed, looking adorable, and acting like they hadn’t just committed a heinous act between bath time and pickup👀

But this mutt-erer learned from Antonio and Riley’s mistakes

They didn’t leave the evidence sitting out in plain sight…

They hid it🔎

Somewhere amongst today’s Daily Dose of Dog is ONE murder weapon belonging to ONE very guilty dog!

It was supposed to be an ordinary day at Rott N’ K9

The dryers were running. Clippers were buzzing. Dogs came in scruffy and left looking like respectable members of society…

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary

Until 11:47am…

The salon had gone quiet for only a moment when a noise came from the back💥

Thud.

Silence.

Then came the unmistakable sound of paws moving quickly across the floor🐾

By the time investigators arrived…

it was already over😤

The victim was found at the scene. There were no witnesses willing to cooperate, no usable security footage, and somehow, every dog questioned gave investigators the exact same alibi:

“I was busy getting pampered.”

…convenient👀

Investigators believe the crime was calculated. The suspect waited for the perfect opportunity, slipped away unnoticed, committed the crime, and quietly returned to the others as though nothing had happened🤫

And here’s where things get interesting…

By pickup time, the mutt-erer had already been bathed, dried, groomed, photographed and released back into society.

We may have literally washed away the evidence…

ALMOST all of it, at least

Because investigators discovered one critical mistake!

The culprit was photographed with the murder weapon🔎

And that photograph has now been mixed in with today’s completely innocent Daily Dose of Dog photos👀

Investigators have confirmed there is ONE—and only one—singled-out murder weapon hidden somewhere within today’s lineup🧐

Who would’ve suspected those sweet little murder mittens were hiding PURE EVIL underneath?! 👀🐾 Apparently the shyly innocent face was nothing more than a carefully crafted alibi🤫

And y’all were ON IT — 14 detectives correctly cracked the case and earned themselves $5 in Grooming Credit! 💰🔎
