🐾 Sgt. Tilly's Weekly Update 🐾

This week I traded my usual patrol route for the school hallways as I shadowed our School Resource Officers while they prepared for everyone’s return from summer break. 🐈💚
I helped with some very important pre-school paw-trols, checked out the hallways, observed safety preparations, and made sure everything was ready for students and staff to come back through the doors. I even supervised a few practice walks around campus—because every great SRO needs a highly trained feline assistant! 🐾
Watching our School Resource Officers prepare for the new school year reminded me that their job is about more than security. They build relationships, support students, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
The halls are almost ready, the classrooms are waiting, and Sgt. Tilly is officially giving the school year two paws up! 🐾💚

JOB OPENING:
We are looking for a driver for our pet cemetery and crematory. Must be able to lift large pets and transport them to our facility with respect and kindness in our company vehicles.
Pets would be transported from veterinary clinics and pet owners’ homes. Please do not apply if you are not able to lift large or heavy pets without assistance. While there is usually lifting help available at veterinary clinics, many pet owners are not willing or able to assist due to being distraught or physically unable to lift.
Prior veterinary or funeral industry background would be helpful. Clean driving record. Must pass background check. Professional appearance and customer service skills required.
Hours 8am-5 or 6 pm with alternate weekends off. Paid holidays and individual health insurance. Retirement plan available. Starting pay $18/hr.

Update: Another representative from another company has been reported to us by our loyal clinics to have now been telling them that Dixie Memorial Pet Gardens has had “management and ownership changes”. AGAIN, this is false information, and we ask that anyone else that witnesses this conversation to notify us immediately with the time, date, name of the representative spreading misinformation (keep their business card if possible), and the person or people with whom they discussed this “rumor”.

Thank you for your loyalty and support. We have served this community for 34 years, and we will NEVER lower our standards or commitment to pet owners and veterinary providers in our community.

To Our Veterinary Clients and Pet Owners

It has been brought to our attention that misinformation about our company has been fabricated and circulated to the veterinary clinics that we serve. An individual has been telling clinic personnel that the owner of Dixie Memorial Pet Gardens, LLC has sold the company to a foreign company (in France).

We want to assure our community that this is a false rumor. We have absolutely no plans or agreements to sell or engage with any third party organizations. Dixie Memorial Pet Cemetery opened in 1992, and we changed our name/entity to Dixie Memorial Pet Gardens, LLC in 2006 with the expansion of our services. We take great pride in remaining an independent, locally owned, professional pet aftercare provider for the Mid-South community.

We look forward to continuing our trusted relationships with the veterinary professionals and pet owners in this community.
