Spring cleaning is in full swing at Animal Birth Control! 🌷🐾

A little here, a little there—we’ve been making some updates to freshen up the place and make it even more welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors.

We have some exciting new things in the works and can’t wait to share them with you as they come together! We’ll be sure to keep everyone updated along the way.

Please pardon our appearance while we continue our little construction project. We promise it will be worth it, and we appreciate your patience and support as we make our home even better for the pets and people we serve.🐱🐶🐰🐹🐭❤️

We hear the same excuses every day:
“She’s not around males.”
“We might want to breed her.”
“I don’t believe in it.”
“We can’t afford it.”

But here’s the reality we see—every single day:

1. Cancer risk goes up when you wait.
The longer she stays unspayed, the higher her chances of developing life-threatening cancers.

2. Breeding is NOT simple—or cheap.
Unless you’re prepared to spend thousands on vet care, emergencies, and raising puppies… don’t do it.
C-sections, complications, and finding homes for 2–15 puppies is not a “maybe someday” decision—it’s a serious responsibility.

3. Pyometra will kill her.
This isn’t rare. It’s not “if,” it’s “when” for many unspayed females.
It’s a severe, life-threatening infection of the uterus.
The ONLY cure? An emergency spay.
Wait too long, and it becomes a death sentence.

And this isn’t just dogs—cats suffer from this too.

We see it. We treat it. We lose them.
A routine spay can turn into a desperate, last-minute surgery—and sometimes even that isn’t enough.

This is preventable.
A simple spay isn’t just a procedure—it’s protection. It’s prevention. It’s saving her life before it’s on the line

We were all set to spay and neuter your pets, but Mother Nature had other plans ❄️🌬️

Due to the winter storm and dangerous travel conditions, we will be CLOSED Monday, February 23. The safety of our clients, patients, and staff comes first.

We’ll be back in action on Wednesday, February 25, ready to get those pets fixed and fabulous 💪🐾

If you need to reschedule or book an appointment, please reach out and we’ll get you taken care of!

🎄🐾 Holiday Fix-It Alert! 🐾🎄

We’re here to help make sure your pets are snipped, clipped, and holiday-ready!
If your dog or cat is still rocking “all the jingle bells”… it might be time to give us a call. 😉

Holiday Hours:
🎅 Our workshop (a.k.a. the office) will be closed the week of December 22nd
🎁 We’ll be back in action Monday, January 5th—ready to help your pets start the new year un-jingly.
