Spring cleaning is in full swing at Animal Birth Control! 🌷🐾

A little here, a little there—we’ve been making some updates to freshen up the place and make it even more welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors.

We have some exciting new things in the works and can’t wait to share them with you as they come together! We’ll be sure to keep everyone updated along the way.

Please pardon our appearance while we continue our little construction project. We promise it will be worth it, and we appreciate your patience and support as we make our home even better for the pets and people we serve.🐱🐶🐰🐹🐭❤️

We hear the same excuses every day:
“She’s not around males.”
“We might want to breed her.”
“I don’t believe in it.”
“We can’t afford it.”

But here’s the reality we see—every single day:

1. Cancer risk goes up when you wait.
The longer she stays unspayed, the higher her chances of developing life-threatening cancers.

2. Breeding is NOT simple—or cheap.
Unless you’re prepared to spend thousands on vet care, emergencies, and raising puppies… don’t do it.
C-sections, complications, and finding homes for 2–15 puppies is not a “maybe someday” decision—it’s a serious responsibility.

3. Pyometra will kill her.
This isn’t rare. It’s not “if,” it’s “when” for many unspayed females.
It’s a severe, life-threatening infection of the uterus.
The ONLY cure? An emergency spay.
Wait too long, and it becomes a death sentence.

And this isn’t just dogs—cats suffer from this too.

We see it. We treat it. We lose them.
A routine spay can turn into a desperate, last-minute surgery—and sometimes even that isn’t enough.

This is preventable.
A simple spay isn’t just a procedure—it’s protection. It’s prevention. It’s saving her life before it’s on the line

Let’s wish our amazing Dr. Sue a very Merry Christmas!
If you know her, you know her—and you love her.

We’d love to surprise Dr. Sue with little positive notes she can open throughout the holidays. Please send a message with your name (or anonymous if you prefer), and we will print them out and place them in a jar for her.

Have a favorite memory?
A kind moment she shared with you?
A conversation that meant something special?
Or just a few words to let her know how appreciated she is?

Anything at all—let’s fill this jar with love and gratitude. She’ll open a note every morning and evening as a reminder of how much she means to all of us.

Let’s send Dr. Sue a very Merry Christmas and show her just how loved she truly is ❤️❤️
