Today is Dia de los Mu***os for pets. Dia de los Mu***os, or Day of the the Dead, is meant to celebrate and honor loved ones that have passed before. In some areas, this celebration was extended to dogs, and more recently all pets. While this year's Dia de los Mu***os for humans is November 1-2, today is the day when we celebrate our pets. While there is much more to this wonderful Mexican celebration than can be explained here, we wanted to create an ofrenda (traditional alters with pictures and other offerings) for those pets that we have loved and lost.
