Shout out to Kelley and Robin today! Riverlin’s first two employees are still here doing it all. They are managers, mentors and educators combining intellect with compassion, experience, skill and humor. We are grateful every day for their hard work 💕

Veterinary technicians play a vital role in so many aspects. Emily is seen here cleaning a dog’s teeth while Steph is monitoring anesthesia in conjunction with the doctor. They will perform dental radiographs, clean and scale teeth, closely watch heart rate, blood pressure, oxygenation and more. After the procedure is finished, the technician will stay with their patient to minimize anxiety and discomfort. This involves education, technical skills, empathy, snuggling and providing snacks

Did you know that Riverlin Animal Hospital provides ultrasound and echocardiograms? Here we have our technicians Toni and Danielle who work with board certified radiologists, cardiologists and internal medicine specialists to help diagnose and treat your pets. Everyone on staff completes continuing education to keep up with advances in veterinary medicine.

Happy National Veterinary Technician Week! This week we want to highlight our team members who have gone through the rigorous and ongoing education to become credentialed in this field. Our CVTs (certified veterinary technicians) are an integral part of our practice and are helping colleagues, clients and patients daily.

We’ve spent this week celebrating our incredible team, but today we want to take a moment to thank YOU — our amazing clients and your wonderful pets!
From all of us, thank you for being part of our veterinary family. We love you and your pets! ❤️🐶🐱🐾

Our technicians and assistants like Eliza here, will assist you through your appointment. Veterinarians could not get through their day without the support of these individuals who are here to answer your questions, calm a nervous patient , and perform all the necessary nursing skills. It can be mentally, emotionally and physically challenging but it is a labor of love and we are so grateful!
