Pondholler Redbone Coonhounds Pondholler Redbones are conscientious breeders of dual-purpose Redbone Coonhounds -- for both hunting and devoted family pets.

Pondholler Redbones have been conscientiously line-bred for over 25 years to produce true multi-purpose dogs -- beautiful, intelligent, calm hounds that are exceptional as hunters (of c**n & bear) and family pets, plus Search & Rescue and Service roles. We breed for beauty, brains, hunting ability, and calm, loving dispositions. Our Redbones are intelligent, instinctive hunters of c**n that can also be trained to hunt bear, and -- most important -- have a trademark calm disposition that makes them excellent pets. Our Redbones live to please, whether in the woods or the living room.

UPDATE RE JOLENE -- An interested family is discussing her rehome. Will post here if Jolene is still available:

JOLENE NEEDS A REHOME -- Just turned two years old, Jolene is out of Bella/Roscoe. Her family has a toddler and a baby-on-the-way and just doesn't have the bandwidth for a rambunctious adolescent Redbone. Located in York, PA. Please call if you are seriously interested in knowing more. Thanks, Sarah 540-290-7925

FINALLY, PICS OF BELLA/ROSCOE PUPS!!! First, apologies to all you good folks who are getting a pup or two from this litter for the delay in posting pics. First I was traveling and then Old Coot has been under the weather. As it takes two to get the photos, today was the first chance we've had. That said, the pups are now almost 7 weeks old and have GROWN terrifically since their last baby pics. They've had their first puppy shots and have been microchipped. They're also chowing down on IAMS LARGE BREED PUPPY kibble. And they are wearing colored collars now so you can tell them apart -- except all the boys covered their collars with their loooong ears so here goes.... The pics in order are: Mr Blue, Mr Brown, Mr Red, Ms Green, Ms Pink, Ms Purple and Ms Turquoise. PICK UP DAY is just 10 days away and the weather should be fine. Please remember to bring cash to pay for your pup(s) as we don't take checks or cards. Meanwhile please call if you have any questions. And travel safely -- looking forward to meeting y'all. BELLA/ROSCOE PUPS ARE 4 WEEKS OLD -- They are now romping and playing with each other and tussling over a couple of small toys. Hard to believe they are now halfway ready to go to their new homes. We've introduced a small amount of Blue Buffalo canned puppy food mashed up in the Esbilac 2nd Step Weaning Formula and they LOVE it. Growing, growing, growing! I have to go away for a couple of weeks so there won't be any pics next week. The next time you see them, they'll be six weeks old and wearing colored collars so you can tell them apart. Til then, enjoy the pics. Looking forward, Sarah 540-290-7925

PHOTOS: Single pup is a male as are the two pups in the top right pic. The other four pups (middle right and bottom right pics) are females.

BELLA/ROSCOE PUPS AT 3 WEEKS and growing! They're definitely up on their feet now and exploring their world, yipping and play-growling as they romp about. Most of them come over when we enter the room, but two sit quietly and watch until they are sure we haven't come to eat puppies. We've begun to introduce them to Esbilac 2nd Step Weaning formula and they wear as much as they eat. This Friday there will be another round of pics, then none for two weeks as I'll be traveling. By the time you see them after that, they'll be 6 weeks old and wearing colored collars so you can tell them apart. Please let me know if you have any questions. THIS LITTER IS SOLD OUT. Looking forward, Sarah 540-290-7925

Can't seem to tag the pics. The two pups in the top pic and the single pup are all males. The other four are the females.

So, several of the folks on my wait list either wanted males or weren't ready yet for a pup, which means three of you dear readers need to let me know if you're interested. They're $750, AKC/UKC registerable, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and come with a health guarantee. Tomorrow we'll have separate pics up of the males and females. If you like what you see, give me a call. Looking forward, Sarah 540-290-7925
