When your mom makes you the face of the brand but you don’t remember signing a modeling contract. 💅🐶

London takes her role as Official Model & Greeter of The Dapper Dog Salon & Boutique very seriously. Her responsibilities include welcoming every guest who walks through the door, looking effortlessly beautiful, and then promptly retiring to her preferred office: under her mom Lia’s desk. 😂

Her current thoughts on the position:
⭐ Loves greeting the clientele
⭐ Pay in treats is steadily improving
⭐ Snacks are locally sourced
⭐ Naps are non-negotiable
⭐ Management (Mom) seems pleased with her performance

Meet Rogue 🐾 — our groomer Piper’s 10-month-old pup and a proud Mill Valley native. 🌲💙

Rogue stopped by The Dapper Dog for a very important job: official toy tester for the new washable toys we’re considering for the shop. 🧸🫧

His interview process was rigorous: sniff test, squeak test, chew test, and—most importantly—would I steal this and run away with it? 😂

We’re happy to report Rogue takes his responsibilities very seriously. Only the good stuff gets his paw of approval. 🐾✅

🛁🐾 The owner has entered the grooming tub!

Meet Dormilon — aka Dormi — a giant, gorgeous Bernese Mountain Dog who gave me the honor of being my first professional bath! ❤️

I’m currently working toward my groomer certification (for my own curiosity), so while I’m learning the technical side of grooming, I’m still very much a student. Thankfully, I have an amazing team of certified groomers who coached me through Dormi’s bath and were there to make sure I was doing everything properly.

As the owner of The Dapper Dog Salon, I love being able to jump in and help wherever I’m needed. When our clients are in a pinch, I’ll always do what I can to comfortably accommodate them — even if that means stepping behind the tub myself! 🛁😂

I’m incredibly grateful to my talented team for sharing their knowledge with me and helping me continue to learn. And a big thank you to sweet Dormi for being such a patient, handsome first client. 🐻‍❄️💙

Still learning. Still training. Still getting my hands dirty — one very fluffy dog at a time. 🐾✨

He came in looking extra fluffy and left looking like a whole new pup! Swipe through to see his transformation from shaggy, to the grooming process, to his fresh summer makeover.

A big round of applause to Bethany for another beautiful groom! 💕 She gave Rufus a clean, balanced trim while keeping his sweet teddy bear expression that everyone loves.

There’s nothing better than seeing those bright eyes and happy smile once all that extra fluff is gone. 🥹🐶

Meet Bodhi ✨🐾

This stunning pup’s DNA test came with some seriously unexpected surprises — including poodle, Chihuahua, and more!

We can definitely spot that gorgeous long-haired Chihuahua coat shining through. Unique, handsome, and full of personality… Bodhi is truly one of a kind. ⚡️
