I want to say a very sincere thank you to the folks who donated several cases of canned cat food to our pantry a couple of days ago, and took the time to write a note on each can. I'm not sure if your cat has passed away or just doesn't care for these flavors, but we truly appreciate you sharing these with our community. We have been running through canned cat food like crazy lately because of the struggles that people are facing and feeding their pets right now and your donation could not have come in a better time - in fact, we only had a few cans left at the time you dropped this off, even after pulling a bunch of product from our own shelves to put into the pantry.
We are truly grateful to everyone who has been supporting our pantry since it opened in December 2022. The need is very significant right now, and all of your donations of product and financial support help to make sure that we're able to supply pet food to any pet owner in need. We don't believe anyone should have to choose between feeding their pets and feeding themselves, or keeping their lights on. We know from speaking to the people who are using the pantry that it makes a huge difference for them, and in some cases, donated pet food is the only thing allowing them to continue to care for their pets during times of financial struggle.
So to Locke's family, and everyone else supporting the pantry, THANK YOU. Your support is beyond appreciated!!
