Introducing Monty…This 5 year old gelding is impeccably bred with AQHA racing legend Panther Mountain on top. Please don’t tell him that he has racing lines though. Monty is convinced that he was born to be a pleasure horse, trail horse or a lap dog. He is 15.2 ½ hh and the sweetest, most personable horse you could find. Monty has worked in a feedlot pushing cows. Has a great neck rein and low natural headset. Willingly walks, jogs and lopes, but is in no hurry to get anywhere. Same horse in the ring as he is on the trail. Nothing phases him. Rides out alone or in a group. Has been ridden on the road and around traffic. He stands quietly to be groomed, tacked, mounted, etc. Zero funny business under saddle. No buck, rear, bolt, etc. No vices in the stall.

Currently turned out in a large herd and gets along with everyone. Loads and trailers well. He can sit for a week or two and you can pull him out and have the same horse every time. No lunging or riding him down. He is the horse that everyone wants, but normally has to wait until they have 10 years of riding on them to get. Has been ridden this summer by a 13 year old, on and off property. Guided beginner trail rides. Has been around farm equipment, dogs, children, ATVs, etc. No maintenance.

He is a young horse that could excel in a variety of disciplines or be just as happy trail riding and being a pet. We have ridden him western, but have had a few English riders (and tack) on him as well and he is a quick and willing learner.
