MME had a great week at Princeton. I’m extra proud of our horses and riders this week. Yes, they achieved great results, but more importantly there was significant growth and consistency for all. These riders are putting in the work and it’s fun to see it paying off. Looking forward to Fall shows!

⭐️Available for in-barn lease⭐️ Mimi is the queen of the barn. Anyone lucky enough to ride her should consider themselves royalty. If you have interest in being the best version of yourself while on a horse, please inquire.

Living their Saddle Club dreams

New to MM Equestrian? Here's what to expect.

🔹I teach with patience, not pressure🔹
Everyone learns at a different pace, and I've never believed in rushing a horse or rider. My job is to meet you and your horse where you are, keep the environment calm, provide clear instruction, and let confidence build each ride.

🔹I want you to understand your horse, not just follow directions🔹
I'm not going to just call out "heels down" and leave it at that. I'll explain why your leg position, your hands, and your seat changes what your horse feels and does. When you understand the why, you can make more independent decisions on what to fix because you start feeling it yourself.

🔹Balance and weight distribution matter, and so does what's going on in your head🔹
Horses are incredibly sensitive to a rider's energy. If you're holding your breath or gripping with tension, your horse knows before you do. Part of my job is helping you ride with a quiet, balanced body and mind, because the two are connected.

🔹We set clear goals so everyone’s expectations are aligned🔹
This is an expensive and time consuming sport, and I try my best to ensure you feel good about how you’re spending your time and money. Whether we're working towards putting a lead change on a green horse, qualifying for Devon, or just riding through a fear, I want us to be on the same page about the plan and steps along the way.

🔹We talk through every round - the great ones and the rough ones🔹
A rail down or a spooky moment isn't a failure, it's information. We’ll walk through what happened and why, so you leave with something you learned rather than something you're carrying home to worry about.

🔹Feeling nervous is normal, and I'll never make you feel bad for it🔹
A lot of my riders are adults who have jobs, families, and real stakes if they get hurt. Nerves aren't a weakness, they're smart. We'll work at a pace that respects that, always. I also recognize many riders put a huge amount of pressure on themselves. Two good rounds in a row? Pressure builds and you bomb the third? You may be your own harshest critic, but I’ll always do my best to keep mindsets positive, upbeat, and forward thinking.

🔹I keep lesson times flexible because I know riding isn't your only commitment🔹
You have a career, a family, and a life outside the barn. I'd rather work around your schedule than lose you to burnout or logistics. Consistency matters more to your progress than any one set lesson time.

🔹Quality care for your horse is non-negotiable🔹
Your horse is a huge part of your life, and I treat that responsibility seriously. Good footing, attentive turnout, and proper veterinary and hoof care aren't extras, they're the baseline.

🔹Above all, riding should be fun🔹
I never want you to forget why you got on a horse in the first place - this is supposed to be the best part of your day.

🔹If this sounds like the kind of place you want to ride, I'd love to have you out to the farm🔹
