We love that our staff spoil each other during vet tech week. This year we had a tech create “survival bags” for their co-workers, another tech brought in delicious sweet treats to start our day with a sugar explosion. Even the doctors get involved by sponsoring pizza parties and pumpkin decorating contests. The best part of it all is seeing our staff come together as a team and bringing out the best of each other. Happy Vet Tech week.

Our techs wear many hats: radiology tech, anesthesia tech, pharmacy tech, veterinary nurse, grief counselor. It’s a wild ride but we love it. Thank you for all that you do. We see you!

It’s a beautiful day in our neighborhood! Thank you techs for all of your hard work and collaboration . Fun fact: most techs have a wicked sense of humor because that is the only way to manage the wide range of emotions that we deal with on a day to day basis. Sometimes our job can be not only physically demanding but also an emotional roller coaster. Having a team that can laugh and help carry the workload together is priceless.

Ahhhhh…can you feel it! There is joy in the air as we start a week of veterinary technician appreciation.

At our hospital we take this opportunity to celebrate ALL of our staff from the doctors to the tech team and the front staff. This celebration week is made possible because we have an amazing office manager who puts it all together and wonderful vendors who spoil us each year by sponsoring lunches. Today we started off with personalized gift bags for everyone stuffed full of surprises. Stay tuned for more to come. I have heard a rumor that there will be some contests to judge later in the week.

Oh- the joy of a puppy nail trim. One tech to hold, one tech for moral support, and one tech to actually trim the nails. It takes a team to make this all look so easy.

Rocky is a hospital regular at Camp Haven Lake. He hangs out with his peeps in the dog kennel while his mom is hard at work (with us as a technician). Who’s a god boy?
