HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN APPRECIATION WEEK!

While many of our technicians are a little photo-shy, we couldn’t let the week go by without celebrating our hardworking, caring, knowledgeable, and supportive Veterinary Technicians!

From drawing blood, giving vaccines, trimming nails, expressing glands, prepping and monitoring procedures, running lab work, following up with clients, filling meds, to caring for your fuzzy family members while they are here, we could not give the high-level care we strive to provide all our patients and clients without them.

We’ll be celebrating our amazing team all week long with snacks, lunches, and gifts, but we’d love for our clients to join in the celebration, too! Be sure to give our technicians an extra thank-you when you see them this week.

🐾 Meet Dr. Cimino! 🐾

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Emily Cimino to the Milford Veterinary Hospital family! ❤️

Her love for veterinary medicine started at a young age with her own family dog, and that early experience sparked a passion that eventually led her to pursue veterinary medicine as a career. She earned her undergraduate degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and recently graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. 🎓🐶

One thing that’s especially important to Dr. Cimino is making sure our patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible during their visits. She is Fear Free Certified and loves finding ways to make the veterinary experience a little easier for both pets and their families. 🐾💕

Dr. Cimino recently moved to New Hampshire with her cat, Paul Hugo, and the two have settled into their new home. When she’s not at the hospital, she enjoys getting lost in a good book and cheering on her favorite Boston sports teams. 😸👑📚⚾🏀🏈

We’re so happy to have her here and can’t wait for our clients and patients to get to know her!

🐾 Meet Dr. Amy Snedaker! 🐾

We’re so excited to welcome Dr. Snedaker to our team at Milford Veterinary Hospital! ❤️

Dr. Snedaker is a New Hampshire native who has loved animals for as long as she can remember. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age, and that childhood dream eventually led her to the University of New Hampshire and then to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her DVM in 2005.

When she’s not caring for your four-legged family members, she’s busy at home with her own crew! Dr. Snedaker lives in Wilton with her husband, two daughters, five cats, a senior dog, chickens, guinea fowl, and a few other small pets. 🐱🐶🐔 Talk about a full house!

Outside of the hospital, she loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, attending music festivals, and cheering on her daughters at their activities — especially alpine skiing and competitive swimming. ⛷️🏊‍♀️

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Snedaker join our team and bring her years of experience and love for animals to our hospital. We know you and your pets will love getting to know her! 🐾💕

We’ll be starting renovations at the hospital today, and work will be going on over the next few weeks. Because of this, getting into the building may look a little different than usual.

If you’re here for an appointment, please give us a call when you arrive so we can check you in. You may need to come in through the side door.

Picking up food or medication? Give us a call when you arrive and we’ll let you know which entrance to use.
