The investigation is over.
The case is closed.
Not a single charge. Not one.
The horses are back home. 🙏🏻
Well … all of them except Knox, who they decided to euthanize bc he was acting colicky…
A tried and true team member, a loved fur baby, a special horse with a big heart & and a gentle soul. The first horse to greet you at the gate and follow you around his pasture. The kind of horse you could count on to take care of your family and jump on ba****ck and bridless.
When they seized him on Aug 12th he gently loaded onto their trailer fat, healthy & in excellent condition.
After several weeks in their care… he’s gone forever.
And for those of you who may not know, colic can be brought on by stress &/or a change in diet.
No phone call, no txt msg, no heads up. No notice at all that anything was ever wrong.
No opportunity to call my own vet,
No opportunity to try and save him,
No opportunity to say goodbye. 💔
Let me be clear: This was NEVER about the wellbeing of the horses.
To everyone who said “Animal Control wouldn’t just seize 37 horses without any reason…”
On Aug 12th I had to stand back and watch every single one of my fat, healthy, shod horses being loaded onto their trailers while round bales and protein buckets sat in their fields with water troughs full.
To be clear, we’ve never once had a previous violation with animal control in all of our years.
In fact, animal control had just visited our farm on 7/16 (just weeks before the seizure) reporting all of the horses in good condition with hay and water in every field.
On 7/30 we had a veterinarian look over every horse, grading each one with a nearly perfect body condition score and run lab tests confirming that our horses did NOT have strangles like the online rumors suggested …
🚨 Yet somehow Animal control knew they were taking our horses weeks before they ever stepped one foot on our property. 🤔
It was discovered that on Aug 4th — a week BEFORE any warrant was issued or signed — an animal control officer notified a private citizen that they they had been illegally trespassing and they knew they were coming to confiscate all of my horses.

In the 3 weeks Animal control had my herd, not one person ever called to ask about feeding schedules, special diets, supplements, farrier schedules or medications for any of my seized horses. In fact, when my lawyer called to try and explain specifics for each individual horse she was turned away. 🤯 😶
If these people actually cared about the wellbeing of my horses why did they take them without asking one solitary question about their diets or their care from the people who have spent years caring for & loving them?!
Instead the only thing Animal Control had communicated to me is a $64,000 bill for the first month of their care and if not paid within 14 days of seizure I was to lose all of my horses forever (without any charges ever being filed against me). The next board bill was set to be due on Sept 11th.
If the warrant to seize the horses stated “neglect” and I pay to have the majority of my horses boarded.. how come only my horses were seized and the privately owned horses were left standing in the same fields, eating the same hay and grain, cared for by the same staff? If the horses were being neglected, why were so many horses left on the property? If the care is good enough for the boarder horses, then why were all of mine seized?
It’s also interesting to see the GoFundMe’s and the Amazon wishlists circulating and who stands to profit from the seizure of over $350,000 of personal property.
And to everyone who was fooled into believing this was ever about the wellbeing of the horses - it never was.
The same people who posted viral pics of horses I don’t own and injuries I’ve never witnessed are the same ones saying I’m sleeping with the vet, with the leasers and with married men. They are the same ones leaving negative reviews on the gyms I go to for allowing an “animal abuser” to work out there. They are the same ones leaving negative reviews on the businesses of the men and women standing up and speaking truth.
They are the same ones calling child protective services on the people who are willing to share their first hand experiences of the ex employees STAGING this premeditated attack.
The same women sharing this misinformation are the same ones who I fronted 100’s of dollars to when they were in need to put food on their family’s table, the same people who I donated $500 to their own horse’s vet bill and the same people who’s farrier bills I paid for when their farrier couldn’t come out.
The same woman spearheading this attack on me and High Vibe Trail Rides hasn’t been on the property since 2024 and is the same woman who has been banned from working at several establishments for the horrific abuse, harassment & online bullying she causes every place she goes.
The same woman who has created a dozen fake fb accounts is the same one who openly admitted that nothing is actually wrong with the farm, she just wants to bankrupt it so she can take it over.
How this ever came to happen I’ll never understand.
Jealousy is real.
Social media can be devastating.
But ..
There is power in prayer.
And if there is one thing that I implore you to do, is to please pray for High Vibes 🙏🏻
Pray for our horses who were wrongfully uprooted.
Pray for our staff who are now struggling to pay their mortgages.
Pray for the children of our staff who are now forced to meet with CPS.
Pray that the next time you tuck your babies in for the night, Animal control doesn’t come knocking on your door the next day.
Be careful with social media when you decide to like, comment and share misinformation you know absolutely nothing about.
It could cost someone or some animal their precious life .. just like our poor Knox. 😢
He didn’t deserve to die.
His blood is on the hands of everyone who participated in this witch hunt. In the end, the one thing these people claimed to care so deeply about is the very thing they destroyed - an innocent horse’s life.

Sometimes we don’t always understand why God allows hardships to fall upon us or even how such horrifically unjust things are able to come to pass…
But what time has taught me is that even in the darkest, scariest, bleakest times.. God is still here. He walks besides us. And he has a plan bigger and better than anything anyone could have ever imagined.
I choose to lean into unshakable faith.
I choose to trust his plan.
Good will prevail.
God will prevail.
Justice will be served.
