Yesterday was a great reminder of why I choose to train dogs and why I get so much out of it. Not only did I get to meet Sunny and help out a shelter adoptee, I got to meet Love.

Love is an absolute sweetheart and, just as her name suggests, she has tons of love to give. This girl is full of energy! She came in tail-wagging, paw tapping and leash pulling like she was going to explode if she didn't get in that training ring immediately. I'm all for enthusiasm.

After about 30-40 minutes of showing her dad how to communicate with and guide her, I handed him the leash. What happened next shocked even me! He's a natural handler and Love responded to him perfectly. I couldn't ask for a better pair of students!

I love what I do. I love every dog that comes through my door, whether they stick around for the long haul or not and the clients who handle their pups outside of my ring are just as important. Whether it takes 2 lessons or 10 my goal is to get you and your dog reliable, consistent obedience training based around your individual needs.

You're not just learning new tricks, you're bonding with your dog. Forging a relationship based on mutual trust and understanding.

Say hello to the newest member of our shelter/rescue program, Sunny! (Formerly Samuel)

Not to be confused with Sunny D, this big lovable guy was adopted from Qc Paws by one of our stylists just 4 days ago.

He had his first free session today! Sunny demonstrated good focus and sit response as well as successfully waiting at the door! We're looking forward to seeing more of him in the future!

On our way to Treats & Trims for a shelter evaluation! Flash is getting a little extra shut-eye on the bus before our arrival. His second adoptiversary is only a month away and I'm so proud of what he's accomplished with me in the last 2 years.

I'll be at the facility from 9:30-1:30 today so stop by and visit to meet me in person! Looking to fill out any time slots between 10:45 and 1 Pm, walk-ins are welcome for evaluation!

Seminar is still happening, I promise 🙏

I finally ended my part time job yesterday which will give me the time I need to shoot clips, edit footage and add in text where it's necessary. The Seminar itself has been fully written for almost 2 weeks now and should end up being anywhere between 15-30 minutes depending on how it's presented.

Thanks for your patience, it was never my intention for it to take this long but it's important to me that I provide a quality production for everyone who watches. 😅

"I'm going this time, right?"

Every time we get his bag out he gets so excited and sits by it. Doesn't even have to be in the thing, he just KNOWS that means he's going somewhere.

Gotta love consistent behavior 😎

After 8 solid hours of rest our mascot needs his nap.

No, seriously... he gets off his mat in the morning, scratches to come out to the kitchen and goes straight to his kennel to pass back out.
