You're not just paying me to make your dog "pretty."

Different breeds have different coats, skin, grooming requirements, behaviors, and handling needs. I take those differences into consideration instead of treating every dog the same.

When I'm grooming your pet, I'm looking at the WHOLE PET.
I may notice something you haven't seen—an irritated ear, unusual skin change, paw problem, parasite, lump, nail issue, coat problem, or something else that deserves attention.
I don't diagnose medical conditions or replace your veterinarian, but I can help spot potential problems early and tell you when it's time to call your vet.
Think of me as another set of eyes on your pet. 👀❤️

When you book with Penney's Pampered Pawz, I don't just clip the hair and send your dog home.
I take care of the details—from the bath and blowout to nails, ears, paws, sanitary areas, coat, finishing touches and everything included in your selected service.
🐾 BEHAVIOR & RECONDITIONING 🐾
Have a dog who hates grooming?
Gets snappy?
Tries to escape?
Has had a bad grooming experience?
I work with all breeds/temperment dogs to help them build trust and become more comfortable with the grooming process.
I'm not interested in simply forcing a fearful dog through a groom.
I want to understand WHY they're reacting and work toward making grooming a more positive experience.
Of course, safety comes FIRST. ❤️

Older pets, nervous pets, and pets with special handling needs often need something different.
Sometimes they need breaks.
Sometimes they need extra patience.
Sometimes they need an entirely different grooming approach.
And that's okay.

Appointments are based on availability, but I understand that life doesn't always happen Monday through Friday.
Your pet may need care when your schedule doesn't fit the traditional grooming schedule.
