I owe y’all an apology.

For YEARS, I had viewers and fellow groomers tell me I was wrong for force drying dogs’ faces. And for YEARS, I basically thought, “Let’s just suck it up, get it over with, and move on.” 😂

I think that was probably my Marine Corps way of thinking. Get the job done, push through it, and keep going.

But the truth is… I was wrong.

Even with ear protection, that noise and pressure can be a lot for a dog. I always knew some dogs hated it, but I convinced myself that getting them dry faster was worth it.

Then I got this new little toy that lets me dry their faces without all that insanely loud noise and pressure.

And y’all… GAME CHANGER.

The dogs actually LIKE it. I’m not fighting with them. They’re more comfortable, more relaxed, and I can still get the job done.

So to every viewer, fellow groomer, and person who tried to tell me over the years:

I’m sorry. You were right. I was wrong.

It takes a big man to admit when he got it wrong, and I’m not too proud to say it.

I’m always going to keep learning and finding better ways to take care of your dogs. Just because I’ve been grooming for 16 years doesn’t mean I know everything.

Apparently, this old Marine still has a few things to learn. 😂

Yes I'm a girl dad and I should be good at pony tails and such, but try doing it on a dog that keeps spinning ,dropping their head, or whatever. I already suck at it, but I do my best and mom NEVER complains. She just keeps bringing her back .

That's a sign that I'm doing something right 😆.

I tell folks all the time, I'm not a frou frou groomer. I don't paint nails, use tons of bows, glitter or glam. So don't get upset when it's not as posh as ya want. Cause trust me ..I've already beat myself up enough 🤣.

But she does look cute 🥰🤗.

This is one of the flight attendants on the plane that hit the towers on 911. It popped up on my feed on tik Tok and I felt the need to share it with y'all .

What were you doing when we got attacked?

On September 11, 2001 , our beautiful country was attacked by cowards. They took 2,977 American lives that day.

I personally remember it like it was yesterday. I was in the 10th grade and it came on the TV. The teachers tried to stay calm but I remember the look on their faces. Terrified, sad, shock . I seen it . Even as a teen with no focus... I SEEN IT .

1 year later I signed up to join the Marines. And I served my country with honor. Even did a tour during Operation Iraqi Freedom 3.

So ,Today when I picked up my kid from school ( senior) . He said the school didnt say anything about the attack. And when I picked up my other kid ( different school sophomore) he said his school only talked about it briefly.

That made me realize, history truly does fade over time. Things and people get forgotten. Time moves on.

So what do we do? We fight like hell to hold on to those memories and continue sharing it with the next generation.

So to those 2,977 souls we lost....

WE WILL NEVER FORGET !

Side note , I love all dogs. But just like I love my kids, they can frustrate the heck out of me sometimes 😂. You definitely have to have a lot of patience for both.

So glad mom and dad already know how he acts sometimes 😂.
