Lantern Hill Farm

Lantern Hill Farm was recently approved as a Kentucky Agricultural District. Thank you to Nat and the Woodford County Conservation District for guiding us through the process, and to the Kentucky Soil and Water Conservation Commissioners for the final sign-off.

The Ag District program helps protect working farmland across the Commonwealth, with benefits like agricultural tax assessment, protection from annexation, and extra points for conservation programs. In 2024, the Kentucky legislature lowered the minimum acreage requirement to 50 contiguous acres, opening the program up to even more farms across the state. Woodford County now has nearly 10,000 acres enrolled, and we're glad to be part of it.
