🌾🐾 Foxtail & Goathead Season Is Here!
Outdoor adventures are a lot of fun, but this time of year brings a few hazards for our furry friends. Foxtails and goatheads may be small, but they can cause big problems if they become lodged in your pup’s paws, ears, eyes, nose, or coat.

👀 Keep an eye out for:
• Excessive licking or chewing at paws
• Swelling, redness, or irritation
• Head shaking or ear discomfort
• Eye discharge or squinting
• Limping or signs of pain

After walks, hikes, or playtime outdoors, be sure to check your dog’s paws, coat, ears, and face for any hitchhiking foxtails or goatheads. Early detection can help prevent discomfort and more serious complications.
