🐾 FOUND PUPPY! HELP US FIND ITS FAMILY! 🐾

One of our wonderful clients brought this adorable little baby to our attention after finding the pup wandering near Highway 24/27 by Walmart! 🐶❤️

We know someone has to be missing this sweet face!

Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan is keeping this cutie safe while we try to locate its family.

Please share this post to help spread the word! If you recognize this pup or know who might be missing their furry friend, please reach out to us at Greenock Farm Veterinary Hospital, and we will gladly help connect you with the Good Samaritan caring for the pup.

Let's get this sweet baby back home! 🏡❤️🐾

We are continuing to experience intermittent issues with our phone system following upgrades in our area last week.

In the meantime, we have rolled our phone lines over to our emergency answering service to ensure calls are still being received.

Our answering service will relay emergency calls to our team.

You can also reach our team by texting us through PetDesk at 704-850-6868 or email at [email protected]. We encourage clients with non-urgent questions or requests to use this option while our phone system is being restored.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate everyone's patience as we work with our phone provider and IT team to resolve the issue.

Thank you for your understanding!

🐾 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 🐴💙

This week kicks off Veterinary Technician Week, and we are excited to celebrate the incredible team that helps keep Greenock Farm Veterinary Hospital running every day!

While this week is traditionally dedicated to recognizing our credentialed veterinary technicians, we also want to celebrate our amazing veterinary assistants and client service representatives. From caring for our small animal patients in the hospital to supporting our equine patients out in the field, every member of our team plays an important role in providing the best possible care. ❤️

We have a few special surprises planned for our staff throughout the week! If you happen to stop by, please take a moment to thank these hardworking individuals for everything they do for our patients and clients.

🥐 We kicked off the week with a delicious breakfast generously provided by Ardent Equine!

Ardent Equine helps us offer innovative regenerative medicine options for our equine patients, including therapies such as PRP and ECS. Their focus on supporting the whole horse through movement, conditioning, recovery, and regenerative therapies aligns with our goal of keeping our equine patients healthy, comfortable, and performing their best.

A huge thank-you to Ardent Equine for helping us start this special week by celebrating our hardworking team!

Here's to a week of appreciation for the people who give so much of themselves to caring for your animals! 🐾🐴💙

🎉 Please join us in officially welcoming Dr. Nina Havelka to the Greenock Farm Veterinary Hospital team as our new Small Animal Associate Veterinarian!

Dr. Havelka already has a special place in the Greenock family. She first spent time with our team during her undergraduate studies while gaining veterinary experience and later returned for a veterinary school externship. We are so excited to have been part of her journey and even more excited to welcome her back as a veterinarian!

A Charlotte-area native, Dr. Havelka earned her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and her MBA from St. Andrews University before graduating from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.

She primarily enjoys caring for dogs and cats and has special interests in cardiology, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry.

Outside of work, Dr. Havelka enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her daughter.

🐾 Starting October 12th we will be offering a Welcome Special: Receive 15% off your pet’s first exam with Dr. Havelka now through November 30!

We are thrilled to have her officially join the Greenock family and can’t wait for you to meet her!
