🐾 Patient Spotlight: Reyna 🐾

Sweet Reyna visited us after her family noticed she was limping and not moving as comfortably as usual. After her examination, we recommended photomodulation therapy to help reduce inflammation, ease discomfort, and support the healing process.

Photomodulation therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing at the cellular level. Many pets find it relaxing, and it can be a great option for managing pain and promoting recovery.

Reyna was an excellent patient during her treatment and soaked up all the extra love from our team! 💕 We look forward to seeing her continue to improve and get back to enjoying her favorite activities.

George is in need of a foster for a few weeks until he is ready for adoption. He is just a little guy, around 6-8 months and weighing just 12lbs.

This little poodle, Gisuppe, was in yesterday for his first visit! He got an overall health check up and also monitoring his current issue with giardia.

But... HE'S DOING AWESOME! ️ 💖

Did you know that Giardia is an intestinal parasite that can affect both dogs and cats? This microscopic organism is commonly found in contaminated water, soil, and f***s, making it easy for pets to become infected.

🔍 Signs of Giardia may include:
✔️ Diarrhea
✔️ Weight loss
✔️ Vomiting
✔️ Decreased appetite
✔️ Occasional lethargy

☀️ Summer fun is here! 🐾
Long walks, lake days, backyard BBQs, and sunshine are even better with our furry family members — but warmer weather can also bring some hidden dangers for pets.

Here are a few summer safety reminders to keep your pets happy and healthy:

🔥 Watch for heat stroke
Pets can overheat quickly, especially brachycephalic breeds, seniors, and overweight pets. Signs include excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse. Always provide shade and fresh water, and avoid outdoor activity during peak heat hours.

🐾 Protect those paws
Hot asphalt and sidewalks can burn paw pads in seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws! Try early morning or evening walks instead.

🦟 Stay on flea & tick prevention
Summer means parasites are thriving. Fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes can spread serious diseases, so keep your pet protected year-round with veterinarian-recommended prevention.

💧 Hydration is key
Bring water on walks and outings, and make sure pets always have access to cool, clean drinking water.

🚗 Never leave pets in a parked car
Even with windows cracked, temperatures inside a car can become deadly within minutes.

🇺🇸 In observance of Memorial Day, our clinic will be closed today and will resume normal business hours Tuesday May 26th.

Somehow, in the blink of an eye, we went from first steps and bedtime stories to caps, gowns, and graduation ceremonies. ❤️

This year our hearts are overflowing as we celebrate:
🎓 2 kindergarten graduates learning to spread their wings
🎓 1 high school graduate ready to take on the world
🎓 1 college graduate beginning the next chapter of life

It feels like yesterday we were packing little backpacks, wiping tears on the first day of school, helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines, and praying through every challenge and milestone along the way.

To see all four of you reach these moments at the same time is something truly special. We are so proud not only of what you’ve accomplished, but of the kind, strong, and loving people you’ve become.

No matter how grown you get, you will always be our babies. ❤️

🐾💕 There’s nothing better than puppy snuggles and helping little ones get started on a healthy life. Axel came in this week for her puppy vaccinations — an important step in protecting her as she grows, explores, and meets new furry friends! 🐶✨

Puppy vaccines help protect against serious and potentially life-threatening diseases like:
• Parvovirus
• Distemper
• Adenovirus
• Rabies

Because puppies have developing immune systems, they need a series of vaccines over several visits to build strong protection. Staying on schedule helps keep your puppy safe and healthy during those critical early months. 🩺💉
