🐾✨ Did you know we offer acupuncture for pets? ✨🐾

Pet acupuncture may be beneficial for patients dealing with:

🐍 A Warning From Rowdy: Rattlesnake Season Is No Joke
Meet Rowdy. He came into our clinic Friday morning because he suddenly didn’t want to put any weight on his front right leg. The moment our technician looked closer, she saw it — swelling running the entire length of his leg. That’s a classic sign of a rattlesnake bite.
We got Rowdy started on medication right away, then transferred him to the emergency clinic for antivenin and IV plasma therapy. He’s a fighter, but this could have gone very differently if his family hadn’t acted fast. We’re rooting for you, Rowdy. 💛

Signs your dog or cat may have been bitten by a rattlesnake:
🐾 Sudden swelling (often starting at the face, leg, or bite site and spreading)
🐾 Two puncture wounds, bruising, or bleeding at the bite site
🐾 Sudden limping or refusing to bear weight on a leg
🐾 Drooling, vomiting, or restlessness
🐾 Weakness, lethargy, or collapse
🐾 Difficulty breathing (if bitten near the face/neck)
If you see ANY of these signs, don’t wait — rattlesnake venom moves fast. Get to a vet immediately.

The good news? You can help protect your pet before it happens.
We offer the rattlesnake vaccine here at Animal Clinic at Mission Square. It won’t guarantee your pet never gets bitten, but it can help lessen the severity of the venom’s effects and buy critical time getting to treatment.

The Pickle Paw Classic is here! 🐾🎉
Saturday, September 19, Midland is heading to Bush Tennis Center to play for the dogs.
This pickleball tournament benefits Midland Animal Shelter Adoptables, the local foster-based rescue that pulls dogs from our city shelter, gets them fully vetted, and finds them homes. MASA is 100% donation-funded, so every rally, every vendor stop, and every food-truck order helps get another dog out.
Come for the tournament. Stay for the vendors and food trucks. Leave knowing you showed up for animals who still need a bed, a home, and a person.
You do not have to be a pickleball pro. Play a bracket, grab lunch, shop the vendors, or just come cheer.
Play for paws.
