🐾 Happy National Feral Cat Day! 🐾

Feral and community cats deserve a chance, too! ❤️ One of the ways we’re proud to support our Midland community is by working with Whiskers and Tails.

Whiskers and Tails does SO much for cats in our area—not only through rescue, adoptions, and fostering, but also by offering low-cost spay & neuter clinics to help make veterinary care more accessible. 🐱💉✂️ They recently just did a TNR (trap, neuter, and release) event!

Spaying and neutering is one of the most important things we, as owners, can do to help reduce the number of unwanted kittens and improve the health and well-being of community cats. Through partnerships like this, we can help more cats get the care they need and give them a better chance at a happy, healthy life. 🐾

We’re thankful for the work Whiskers and Tails does for the cats of Midland and proud to work with an organization that is making such a difference in our community! ❤️

Want to help a community cat? Consider supporting local rescue organizations, fostering, adopting, or helping get cats spayed and neutered! 🐈‍⬛

🐾🚨 HAPPY NATIONAL PET OBESITY AWARENESS DAY! 🚨🐾

We all love a chonky cat, a chunky pup, and those adorable extra rolls… but sometimes “fluffy” can mean carrying a little more weight than is healthy! 😂

Just like in people, excess weight can impact your pet’s quality of life and increase their risk for problems like:
🦴 Arthritis & joint pain
❤️ Heart & respiratory problems
🩺 Diabetes
🐾 Decreased mobility & energy

A healthy weight isn’t about being skinny—it’s about being healthy, comfortable, and able to enjoy life! ❤️

Today is a great day to take a look at your pet’s body condition and ask your veterinary team:
👉 “Is my pet at a healthy weight?”

And if your pet is a certified member of the Chonk Club, don’t worry, we can help! 🐶🐱

🖤🐈‍⬛ It’s CATober! Let’s show some black cat appreciation! 🐈‍⬛🖤

Meet our clinic cat, Ruby! 🥰 Black cats have long been associated with bad luck, largely because of old folklore and superstitions… not because there’s anything unlucky about these beautiful kitties! In some cultures, black cats have even been considered symbols of good fortune. ✨

Here at the clinic, we’re big fans of our black cat patients! 🖤 Ruby is just one of the many reasons we think they deserve all the love.

📸 Have a black cat, or any cat, you absolutely adore? Drop a picture of them in the comments so we can admire your feline friends! 🐾👇

✨ Laser therapy spotlight! ✨

Therapeutic laser can help decrease pain and inflammation, improve circulation, reduce swelling, and promote tissue repair and wound healing. It can be a great supportive treatment for arthritis, soft-tissue injuries, post-surgical recovery, and other painful conditions. 🐾❤️

And of course… we can’t forget the cutest part: those tiny safety goggles! 😎🐶🐱

Grace watching her vet techs run around like 👀😂“Y’all got this. I’ll just be chillin’ right here.” 🐶💤

😄🐾 That’s the face of a dog who knows they just had an EASY vet visit! When the team is gentle, friendly, and makes you feel right at home, sometimes you leave with a smile. 🥰💙

We love making every visit as fear-free, positive, and stress-free as possible — because happy patients make for happy pet parents, too! 🐶✨

Looks like someone is already ready for their next visit! 😉

🌎🐾 Happy World Rabies Day! 💉❤️

Today is a great reminder of how something as simple as keeping your pet’s rabies vaccine up to date can make a big difference.

Rabies continues to be found in wildlife throughout Texas, so a few simple precautions can help keep your pets — and your family — protected:

💉 Keep rabies vaccines current
🏡 Keep pets from roaming freely
🦨 Give wildlife plenty of space
🐾 Prevent pets from interacting with wild animals

Rabies is a serious disease, but vaccination is one of the best ways to protect your furry family members. 🐶🐱💕

Not sure if your pet is due for their rabies vaccine? Give us a call — we’re happy to help!
