๐Ÿพ Patient Spotlight: Reyna ๐Ÿพ

Sweet Reyna visited us after her family noticed she was limping and not moving as comfortably as usual. After her examination, we recommended photomodulation therapy to help reduce inflammation, ease discomfort, and support the healing process.

Photomodulation therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing at the cellular level. Many pets find it relaxing, and it can be a great option for managing pain and promoting recovery.

Reyna was an excellent patient during her treatment and soaked up all the extra love from our team! ๐Ÿ’• We look forward to seeing her continue to improve and get back to enjoying her favorite activities.

Join us in wishing Reyna a speedy recovery! ๐Ÿถโœจ

Meet George! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿพ

George is in need of a foster for a few weeks until he is ready for adoption. He is just a little guy, around 6-8 months and weighing just 12lbs.

Heโ€™s got an adorable underbite that will steal your heart, and a big personality to go with it! If you can open your home for a few weeks and give him a place to hang out, let us know!

This little poodle, Gisuppe, was in yesterday for his first visit! He got an overall health check up and also monitoring his current issue with giardia.

But... HE'S DOING AWESOME! ๏ธ ๐Ÿ’–

Did you know that Giardia is an intestinal parasite that can affect both dogs and cats? This microscopic organism is commonly found in contaminated water, soil, and f***s, making it easy for pets to become infected.

๐Ÿ” Signs of Giardia may include:
โœ”๏ธ Diarrhea
โœ”๏ธ Weight loss
โœ”๏ธ Vomiting
โœ”๏ธ Decreased appetite
โœ”๏ธ Occasional lethargy

We'd love to see more cuties like Gisuppe in and also to be featured on our page! Schedule an appointment now! Call or text (432)687-4118 ๐Ÿ“ฒ โ˜Ž๏ธ

๐Ÿพ We're Here to Help ๐Ÿพ

We understand that many pet owners have been affected by the recent unexpected closure of a local veterinary clinic. We know how stressful and uncertain this situation can be when you're trying to ensure your pet continues to receive the care they need.

Our team is working hard to accommodate as many new patients as possible while continuing to provide quality care to our existing clients. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate an increased demand for appointments.

If your pet requires ongoing treatment, medication refills, vaccinations, or medical attention, please contact our clinic. We will do our best to assist you and help make the transition as smooth as possible.

Thank you for your kindness toward our staff during this busy time. Our shared priority is the health and wellbeing of your pets, and we're committed to supporting our community however we can. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ“ž Please call us at 432-687-4118, we are receiving numerous petdesk/online requests and we are trying our hardest to reach out to everyone. We also recommend reaching out to Animal Clinic and Hospital as well as Cobb Veterinary Clinic.

We would also like to thank Elite Veterinary Clinic and Encore Veterinary Hospital for also offering assistance in this time of need.

โ˜€๏ธ Summer fun is here! ๐Ÿพ
Long walks, lake days, backyard BBQs, and sunshine are even better with our furry family members โ€” but warmer weather can also bring some hidden dangers for pets.

Here are a few summer safety reminders to keep your pets happy and healthy:

๐Ÿ”ฅ Watch for heat stroke
Pets can overheat quickly, especially brachycephalic breeds, seniors, and overweight pets. Signs include excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse. Always provide shade and fresh water, and avoid outdoor activity during peak heat hours.

๐Ÿพ Protect those paws
Hot asphalt and sidewalks can burn paw pads in seconds. If itโ€™s too hot for your hand, itโ€™s too hot for their paws! Try early morning or evening walks instead.

๐ŸฆŸ Stay on flea & tick prevention
Summer means parasites are thriving. Fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes can spread serious diseases, so keep your pet protected year-round with veterinarian-recommended prevention.

๐Ÿ’ง Hydration is key
Bring water on walks and outings, and make sure pets always have access to cool, clean drinking water.

๐Ÿš— Never leave pets in a parked car
Even with windows cracked, temperatures inside a car can become deadly within minutes.

Letโ€™s make this a safe and fun summer for every pet! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ
If you have questions about parasite prevention, heat safety, or summer travel, give us a call โ€” weโ€™re here to help!

Comment a picture of your pets having fun in the sun! ๐ŸŒž ๐Ÿ•

Somehow, in the blink of an eye, we went from first steps and bedtime stories to caps, gowns, and graduation ceremonies. โค๏ธ

This year our hearts are overflowing as we celebrate:
๐ŸŽ“ 2 kindergarten graduates learning to spread their wings
๐ŸŽ“ 1 high school graduate ready to take on the world
๐ŸŽ“ 1 college graduate beginning the next chapter of life

It feels like yesterday we were packing little backpacks, wiping tears on the first day of school, helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines, and praying through every challenge and milestone along the way.

To see all four of you reach these moments at the same time is something truly special. We are so proud not only of what youโ€™ve accomplished, but of the kind, strong, and loving people youโ€™ve become.

No matter how grown you get, you will always be our babies. โค๏ธ
Keep dreaming big, working hard, and believing in yourselves. The world is waiting for you.

๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’• Thereโ€™s nothing better than puppy snuggles and helping little ones get started on a healthy life. Axel came in this week for her puppy vaccinations โ€” an important step in protecting her as she grows, explores, and meets new furry friends! ๐Ÿถโœจ

Puppy vaccines help protect against serious and potentially life-threatening diseases like:
โ€ข Parvovirus
โ€ข Distemper
โ€ข Adenovirus
โ€ข Rabies

Because puppies have developing immune systems, they need a series of vaccines over several visits to build strong protection. Staying on schedule helps keep your puppy safe and healthy during those critical early months. ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿ’‰

Vaccinations donโ€™t just protect your pet โ€” they also help protect other pets in our community. Prevention is always easier (and safer) than treatment!

Axel was such a brave girl today, and we canโ€™t wait to watch her grow through her puppy visits! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿพ
