As of May 1st, 2026, we will only be authorizing prescriptions via Chewy.com. Starting August 1st, 2026, we will no longer be fulfilling prescriptions through any third-party pharmacies and are exclusively working with our trusted partner, Vetcove. While we prefer you to purchase from our online pharmacy for the reasons listed below, if you still would like to purchase your pet’s medications elsewhere, we would be happy to provide you with a written prescription for you to pick up to be filled at the pharmacy of your choice.
We prefer our store over other online retailers because the safety of all the products is guaranteed. The safety and health of your pets is our number one priority: third party vendors do not always get their stock directly from the manufacturer. Our online pharmacy will ship medications directly to your door from our trusted manufacturer.
Vetcove works with our record keeping the system here in the office, which allows us to import your information from your chart to our pharmacy. The Vetcove platform is easy to use; and as quickly as your veterinarian prescribes a medication or recommends a diet, the prescription is sent to your email and only requires your card information to complete the purchase. Hello All. Although we have recently gotten a taste of summer heat a little earlier than expected, we wanted to repost a message from last year, as we already have had a case of suspected heat stroke.

"Every year at this time, even though warnings are posted in many places, and now here, please , please, please be aware of the heat and take the appropriate precautions to prevent heat stoke in your pets. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your pet. Feel the pavement on which you walk your dog; if you can't keep your hand on it because it's too hot, don't walk your dog on it. Don't over exert with play and long walks (especially the short-faced breeds); do bathroom duties, and go back inside. Go for walks in the early morning or late evening, when it's not quite as hot. Don't even for a minute leave your pet in a closed car. If your pet needs to be outside, be sure there is shade and water. Even so, at 100 degrees Fahrenheit, even shade and water is not enough to keep your pet cool enough. Heat like (this) is DEADLY to people and pets.
Last week we had our first heat stroke emergency. Please make it our last."
